I also own Peru Kill and although I love it, my opinion is that he's an approximation to Lockdown. The proportions are all wrong, the alt mode is not quite right, and the details are shallow and simple. Its a fantastic figure and it manages to hide the alt mode kibble brilliantly, but it's no where near as good as I expect a masterpiece Lockdown to be.

To be honest, the sculpting doesn't even compare to the SS one.... Sure this one is great, and pulls off the no kibble lockdown design, but the sculpting they did for peru kill was very much lacking.

Most I can see them doing is combining "filler" elements in the future with figures (ala Sam, the cube, maybe even Frenzy in the future?), not entirely different characters in one set. I wouldn't worry too much about that

maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but beyond a possibly better headsculpt, that jazz does not look like an improvement over the HA toy from years ago. no, the 「haw haw see megatron can murder him」 gimmick is not an upgrade to me.

Pretty sure there was a solicitation for this a while ago. It said ¥20,000, if I recall correctly.

We should no for sure once Japanese preorders go up.

com'on, we are all waiting for this so we can do that to jazz repeatedly while going "haw haw, i want TWO!" in a tone as lifeless and Mr Pissy's voice acting and same murderous gleam in our eyes

    HAW HAW!

I mean. You kind of just proved his point, because that Lockdown had hundreds of horrible aesthetical compromises in the robot mode clearly taken so his transformation could lead to a good silhouette. A part of the figure had to bend for the other to survive. A Lockdown that also pulls off accurate proportions, sculpt detailing and a car mode with seams in proper places that a licensed Lamborghinni figure would require (because we know Lamborghinni doesn't like when toys mess up a bit the look of their vehicles) would probably end up less lean and sleek than Peru Kill.

Negative much? You do realize these are prototypes?, yes? His actual visor in the movie was blackened shaded glass in the movie. AKA NOT BLUE. And you do realize these are prototypes yes?

His backpack is movie accurate. And its brilliantly done! You just like complaining for some reason. And its pointless bc these are prototypes meaning the parts dont lie flat or clip in or even hold themselves up much of the time. When they 1st showed off MPM-4 Optimus Prime in China in 2017, that was a prototype & it didnt have his backpack transformed right at all. This' something of the same deal im willing to wager on it. Since its a prototype its "subject to change"

LMAO. I’m literally laughing. My $15 SS lockdown looks 100x better then that Peru kill. Imagine if HASBRO got a shot at a MPM lockdown...you’d really be in for a treat.

To add to this, here's another comparison with how Jazz is supposed to look. Overall, the MPM is an improvement. His thighs are correctly proportioned, his arms aren't flat, he doesn't have stick elbows, and the shoulders are much more accurate. There are a lot of other small improvements too.
