Megatron's backpack calmed me down a little bit

Megatron is what I've been waiting for these past 12 years, at least to me, it's just amazing to look at!

Jazz is also getting my attention, I think my HA Jazz will find a new owner, simply because of how that's like nearly 10 years difference in engineering. I'm loving the fact that you can also recreate that seen where meg's rips Jazz in half

great..after seeing these pics my worst fears came true..megatrons backpack is even more fucked then I thought it was.

 

megatron wasn't very colorful, just grey and some gold
sam is stupid but jazz only needs his gun which he has and he has the spine which is a bonus
and if you look up images and the statue by prime1 studios of jazz, his vizor isn't blue, its black, but the mom is wrong because prime1 studios make them exact

 

you keep saying you want no "gimmicks" in a serious tone but then turn around and use a transformers swear word like a kid on a playground.

 

Megatron has the chains for his hand mace under a wing! Not sure what's under the nose cone though.

 

That death gimmick on Jazz is hilarious. Looks like it's incorporated well and doesn't detract from the figure at all.
It's so incredibly morbid and out there, classic Takara.

 

I love how they even made Jazz’s back look accurate

 

Is it just me or does this Megs look alot bigger then a leader class???.....or could it be just just the angle?...

 

You're overreacting to a gimmick that doesn't even get in the way of anything

The Prime 1 Studios got the visor wrong. In the film itself, you can see Jazz’s visor is blue.

 

i don't see blue and i looked it up

 

yea I just wanted his visor to be colored, I don't mind any color. Megatron was pretty bland but does mpm 8 have red eyes? I didn't see them in the pics so far, makes me kinda worried.

 

Again missing what my issue is with the piece.
Of course articulation should go with transformation. My issue is with him being able to be torn in two to emulate one scene in the movie.
Being torn in two isn't part of the character's transformation.
I buy Masterpieces to have a representation of the characters themselves, not for gimmicks based on movie scenes.

 

MPM megatron honestly doesn't look that good in hindsight. It's like whoever designed it didn't even care for it. And that's a shame cause It's my favorite movie megatron design

 

Megatron thought so too. Great minds think alike.

 

I think the fact this design even managed to make a comeback says otherwise, since we know HasTak seems to have some beef with the 2007 design..
