I really do like that Studio Series is giving people the chance to grab him at last after he barely hit the States. I know folks would prefer new molds of Wheeljack and Soundwave, but in theory SS could be a good way for them to finally hit shelves as well if they wanna lowball it, but still give us something good.

Looks way better than the old one in Alt mode. I may grab one to display with the original if I see it on sale. I'm a sucker for a Headmaster.

Got lucky and found one at Ross. Love the wear and grime, so much so that I went and finished the job on the rest of his limbs. I don't have any need for another one, but it is cool to see Hasbro actually release a wave-end figure in a new line. That happens once in a while, but not every time (*coughs*"DOTMSHOCKWAVE"*coughs).

In case anyone is wondering, this new SS cogman repaint is more accurate to the film appearance. The car is now painted like the real prop car and the robot mode Gold & Silver placement on the body matches that found on CGI butler Cogman.

At first I thought I preferred the TLK version of Cogman but the SS version looks good too. Comparing them, SS looks like young Cogman and TLK is old cranky Cogman.

SS Cogman looks pretty good but I must admit, when I got the notification, I was really hoping that is was WFC-S Leader Optimus Prime whom he teased a week or so ago etc

007 and it takes "off with their head" from the queen of Hearts to new levels. xD
Which makes me think of "Go ask Alice." And that whole song.

Wish his headmaster was a little Anthony Hopkins.

This guy does look pretty good; he is covered in silver paint and has a cool sword that I feel compelled to give to Optimus for some reason (can we see a fancy colored rerelease of that guy too? Maybe with remolded in articulation...) Can always use more of the Titan Master gimmick.

I'm pretty sure I'll grab him. Mixed feelings. On many fronts he is hands down superior- but in the places where they actually bothered to paint the original (he was lacking in paint to be sure), I think I prefer the original deco. Unfortunately doesn't look like enough of the right parts could be swapped to mix and match into an ideal. But at the very least he'll be a great display car. maybe bot mode too. Torn.

So glad for this. Could never find the TLK one. In fact the ones you can get are like $30 or More!!!! So Studio series version with the bester paint job will be a steal at $20!

Before you get too excited, I should say that I live in Australia, so I don’t think it would have been much help to you US collectors even if I had reported it. Sadly, I didn’t actually realise he wasn’t showing up elsewhere at the time. I only found out how rare he was later. I don’t tend to keep up much with what’s showing up where. Maybe I should.

    I know, I’m terrible. Bwahaha!

Agree. Hopefully he won't be hidden by all the leftover Crankcases and clunker Bumblebees.
