Griffith is unexpectedly good at drawing MLP. He and Tramontano also make a pretty good illustrator/colorist team.

I was in the camp of not wanting this to happen. After this cover, I'm a little curious. Just a little. That means that you almost had me there.

 

I'm just sitting here looking at all this salt coming out of the mines. Besides, non-canon fan crossovers that are actually decent are very hard to come by. I'd provide an example, but not exactly sure how well a reception for a fanfiction page would go.

I mean it stops electrical impulses and currents, that would cause brain death if it hits an organic being if my biology is correct, if Statscream shot Rainbow Dash, and hit her, that would be a one shot kill without any or little to no evidence left behind, potentially a burn mark if that

Would have enjoyed this as a limited series crossover, though. I'd always hoped they might do this and did buy that Soundwave cover of that DJPon3/Soundwave comic cover set they did at ..was it Botcon?

 

I would have read it for sure. Probably would have been really good, the MLP comic IDW put out can be surprisingly a lot of fun.

I would approve of that part, because to me, Rainbow Dash is the most insufferable and arrogant of all the ponies.

I love how terrified Bumblebee, Jazz, and even Optimus look, like they know that this comic would fill almost everyone with rage. Honestly, as a one-off crossover, it could have been fun. Like maybe the MacGuffin jewelry the ponies have were some kind of Regenesis thing that Shockwave was working on, calling into question everything the ponies know and believe in, or something? I don't know. It'd probably have been some non-canon, super-kiddy, RID-type thing. Whatever it was going to be, I think most of us can agree it would at least be better than Transformers VS Visionaries.

 

God it\'s like he was actually trying to make the ponies look horrible. Seriously, what\'s with crossover art always shortchanging one of the universe\'s artstyles?
