I wasn’t referring to them. I was referring to this tank robot (I forgot what it’s called). But I like your ideas for Dia Battles, Big Powered and the Great Robot Base.

This is from Takatoku’s Dorvack line where Hasbro would eventually find Mugen Calibur and Oberon Gazette the figures who would later become Whirl and Roadbuster.
There was however, a third figure, Bonaparte Tulcas which was left to obscurity similar to the outliers in Diaclone and MicroChange.

Tulcas is such a piece of crap even Transformers wouldn't take it.

Well of course not it’s a walking tank with barely any personality

Yeah. It’s no wonder Hasbro chose the toys that would become Whirl and Roadbuster as they seem much more interesting as to what kind of character that Hasbro would create from them.

Really? Cause the design really reminds me of BM Tankor.

If you’re referring to the tank, I cannot think of a whole lot of things you can do with the toy besides it being a drone or being a human controlled vehicle. Granted, they could go the Ironhide/Ratchet route of a different design with the character model. Including a new robot head even though there isn’t much of a face if at all on the toy itself.

Some of his body looks like Tankor but not enough of it.
If you want to see a hard to adapt character look no further than Diaclone’s Battle Buffalo

Not sure if the toys would have a chance now-a days, but they'd be great fodder for background characters in various media.

The toys wouldn’t but the characters that would be based off the toys could still have a chance. They’ve been revisited and brought into the cannon retroactively all the time.

Did you guys know that Magmatron used reboot Dia Battles body in Beast wars Uprising, making it a suitable preearth body?

Car Robots/Robots in Disguise was always intended as a stand alone series so it's not connected to the G1/BW Continuity Family.

    It doesn’t need to be.
What happens on RID doesn’t matter, what does matter is that Gigatron as a separate character has been explored and done atleast twice, once in the animated continuity https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Gigatron_(Animated and second in the IDW G1 continuity A33EEB40-F07D-4201-8EE3-B79607683419.jpeg
I simply would do it a third time.

It would've been hilarious if we got the Ladybug and he was like Francis from A Bug's life, rather than a traditional fembot. He'd just have the deepest and thuggish voice. :lolol

Trapsecticon sounds like something that would happen in a Japanese Takara show like Zone or BW Neo

That’s crazy I can’t even begin to imagine how that would work.
