Considering it’s coming with both the new heads and original ones (indicated by the text on the images) the color would dictate it’s a cryotek homage with an optional beast machines control harness mask. The colors look nothing like megatron so it’s clearly not megatron

 

And I would rather they make a proper control harness for this figure.

 

I just have a random question but, what is the best way to do a large cybertronian ?, by making it a combiner cough cough Dragonstorm cough cough, by making the wings super small, having place holder parts like undeployed wings for the bot mode ?

Also, how do people prefer their wings (dragon wings, not chiken wings, although I am open to learning that), large or small, hinged like FansToys Dracula or spreadable like Doragon/Knight or like Prime Leader Predaking ?

I personally have ideas as to how the perfect wing should be like, and too start to get the idea, think about how third parties go about seeker bot made wings, hinged along the edges to get that classic wing design, apply this to this wing design, the "humerus" section can rotate on a strong universal joint at the body, then unhinges some parts locking out the deployed wings, like the seeker wings for jet mode. Then for the "forearm", it rotates at the elbow and at the digets, then also unhinges some flaps for flight. Next, the digets ...., each can rotate at the forearm slightly offset at each one like Doragon/Knight's wings, then when fully deployed for flight, can unhing many flaps allowing them to each lock in and have next to no gaps, like an actual dragon wing should be, unless it does not want any lift.

This is just how I think wings should be like on a figure. They should also have some diecast in them so they are not to break. Also, it would be cool if a company did a full on wyvern, like Drogon from Game of Thrones.

Ending note - Maybe if the designs we clever enough, they could come up with a way for the wings to not be on the back, but in the torso, having some of the wing poke out of the chest, while having most of the wings coming off the back, like Prime Predaking's wings.
Also, they could find a way with big robot legs, like Doragon/Knight's anime proportional legs, to give up some of the "femur", and extend the dragon torso, while having the legs reshape, like my favorite wolf-former Wolfwire (Weirdwolf), bending at the shin and changing the feet into dragon feet.

I just want a Drogon Transformers figure, that's all.

 

I've gotta say, even though it's not something I'm interested in, that is a really nice retool.

No. Sorry it will take a completely new figure to do the Prime: Predaking design justice. Trying to shoe horn a few traits onto the Doragon mold is just flailing about.

 

Much more into this bad boy than the red one. I love the mask, the original only has Meg's face because Hasbro didn't bother changing it.

 

i believe you missed my point but thats ok, i mean there are a bunch of diff prime predaking figures and they're all trash every single one, not one is good enough so a remold of this just for the colors and likeness would no not beat an original mold but would beat all the hastakomy ones i fail to see how you can argue that

 

Beast Fire: Predaking needed a new head and tail (See: Shapeways) to add to it's articulation and to make his dragon head work properly.
That figure and the later voyager both nail the visuals but not the articulation needed.
