So they're doing smaller hands now and are even including new ones to go with Starscream. Do you guys think they might want to update their Optimus? Especially since the original figure seemed to have less paint apps than the promo pics.

 

I don’t know that the hands are smaller per se. They still include the 5mm open hand but have closed fisted ones as well to switch between.

Personally, I love the massive 5mm hands, both because I like bigger hands on my bots and it’s compatible with all the gear I’ve collected over the years.

I do hope they do something for Prime in the future, I love the old one but would very much welcome an update. I plan on seeing if I can use the Star Scream hands for my Prime when it gets here.

 

i really dont think they care about updating their prime as much as the fans do. for them it has been a smashing success. they are getting ready to bump out it's 4th remold for god's sake. that sounds like a winner in my book for mold longevity.

but i do think they will eventually release an updated cyber/earth prime with in the year or so.

either way this fucking pic looks so epic i need it now.

I was thinking the same thing, it’s impressive how far IF has come. I mean, we are getting Transmetals this year! That’s crazy.

 

I guess I'm removing the God Ginrai armor from my Stormbringer Optimus. Tyrant will look really nice being displayed next to him.

 

I'll probably be picking up that Hasbro Cybertron (oops.. Cyberverse) Optimus/Trailer set to give the trailer to IF Optimus too.

And it'll help to differentiate him a bit more from Steel Lucifer...

 

I thought about doing that too, saw some shota on Weibo with that. I just can’t bring myself to buy official stuff anymore.

 

Which set are we talking about? Hasbro's making a Legends-scale trailer? I still want to get a trailer for Asura Knight Grimmy if possible.

 

It's not designed as a legends scale trailer, but it kinda works, both size and style, with IF Stormbringer Op.

 

They really need a redo on their Blitzwing... that thing didn't look good at all.
