Yep, but it doesn't look like a real life Fire Truck here on Earth at the moment so I'm cool with it being his new Cybertronian mode in the new comics and toyline.

But note that the shape of the front of the wheel wells seems to match pretty well with the wheel wells on the arm gauntlets, 5mm holes and all

Thanks, wasn't sure on that. Been too long since seeing that show.
Even so, his bot mode still is based on Armada Prime's cybertron mode(the whole one scene we got of that), which was based on Fire Convoy.

With how they aren't used in the IDW art, they seem to be removable and use the COMBAT system ports to peg in. So those are probably optional by preference, either collapse into themselves and form the bumper, or collapse into themselves and store someplace else in the full vehicle.

Based on comparing it to magnus, they have the same forearms entirely. So it's removable, and does fold into itself to become the front bumper. It's a recessed hinge so it folds more seamless and isn't visible.

Which means Magnus gloves are compatible too, and you might be able to fit the wheel armor over magnus gloves if his have combat ports on them.

It is really funny how back then it was fine for Prime to have a firetruck mode. With G1 fans that just doesn't fly. The firetruck always was Inferno. But I must say for fans of that era he is a good figure.

    @Shin Densetsu
Thanks for vouching on my statement.

I mean, the tooling/engineering is already there. Hasbro have the resources in order to pull it off.
As for Godbomber they can upsize Cog and retool him. Or make a sole SIEGE Godbomber figure either in leader or voyager class.

Heck, Deluxe Cog reminds me of Godbomber and Godbomber acts as sort of a weaponizer to Super Ginrai in Masteforce.
So there goes the POTENTIAL of making it happen. Now it's matter of will Hasbro do it or not.

While I like Tak-Tom's Godbomber, it has a clunky robot mode and stability issue when combined to TR Apex Armor OP/Super Ginrai.

Bumber is all grey, gauntlets have some blue among other differences, no way to tell for sure until we see more

I’m just worried the cab is gonna be ugly and unfinished like magnus.
Remember to keep in mind render colours are sometimes different to final figures. It could change.

You are 100% correct on that, sometimes the figure itself and the box art colors differ so it could very well form the bumper and the gauntlets

It's possible, but not likely anytime soon-ish. WFC2 at the earliest, but even that's an unknown and is already likely filled on slots.

Magnus is a bit of a different case because the previous version was IDW Magnus. Same like Springer coming up if still slated would be G1 heavily leaning instead of the IDW previous design. Unless they decide to go more off the wall with it to save the G1 redux for later.

Really depends on what the comic does, and if Prime gets a new power up suit later in the comic after this one gets damaged.
After WFC3 though, it's possible, or if there's room for an exclusive somewhere it's possible. Kind of the point of doing the TR one and Takara God Bomber was so that other versions can be done for a bit.

But we might have some other interesting things later too.
More likely if we get a new full PMOP, it'll be a full original new mold with Apex too much much later. They'll want to milk the already made versions for a bit of time first though. Especially with how limited those releases were originally.

Power up armor is the Cybertron/Galaxy Force standard bot mode(minus the backpack). Siege unarmored is an all new bot mode. Galaxy Force/Cybertron's bot mode was based on the other two.

That Armada cybertron prime is still one of my favorite Prime designs too. Though I really love Cybertron's big forearm design too.

I have no real use for another OP, but I might buy a repaint. What colors was this repainted into back in the day?

You are selling the 2005/6 Cybertron Optimus Prime and replacing it with this new WFC-S version?

I mean the colored pic is in hand, TonTon Reviews has the figure in hand and can solve all of this, it could be that the box art and figure colors dont match up, we just dont know but TonTon does.
