Is the painted one 3 dimensional/raised? Or is it just flat and painted red and white?

 

They are both raised/3 dimensional. They are not flat. They seem to be the same mold - one is just painted and one isn’t.

No. You get 2 options. A colored and a metallic one.

Here’s my coloured one that’s color matched (as close) to the red on Prime which is darker. Also made the background match the metallic grey accents/trimmings.

 

didn't know there were insignia's made for this just ordered from showz   mine will finally be in its own display case around the beginning of next month so will my soldier story unicron both needed something big   the unicron has been boxed since i got it ( well after i put it together to check it was ok first  

had a superb idea the other day getting one of these for both , just the right size for the statue and this giant prime so i can have it in a pose , sheet of glass for both bit of board for the tops and i already have leds much cheaper than buying ones big enough and less work than building the boxes from scratch, i can get glass cheap and mdf is peanuts too for the tops ... shouldn't be anymore than £60 each to finish both cabinets ( probably less )

That Optimus is massive. Really nice detail but man where the heck would I put it. Anyone know how big the Wei Jiang is in comparison to this? That I was considering.

 

Better yet, how the hell do I sneak it into the house and hide it from my wife?

 

The only way for it to not get noticed is if you keep it in the box and store it in the basement.

Got my Lewin Resources oversized prime today.
Not too bad.
Unfortuntetly, the left foot has paint issues. Most likely caused by semi dry paint covered with the protective plastic.(I did even try using a magic eraser, but it’s not a film residue and the eraser was turning blue so I abandoned that before it made it worse).
The bottom of one of my smoke stacks keeps falling off due to really loose fit.
Also a hairline stress crack was on one of the tabs that hold the pin for the vent panel.

Aside from these issues it’s a great piece. I got a metal autobot logo from the same seller as linked above on eBay. I like it. I don’t really like the one from other site that is raised. This one sits flush.

Anyway, got this from The Chosen Prime site. Awaiting to hear back from Brandon about maybe getting a replacement smoke stack and what to do about the paint issue. The stress Mark is not yet a crack and I don’t plan to continually transform this so that should be ok.

Still, it hurts paying what I did to have these issues. I know it’s a KO and that’s the problem. I could live a little easier with this if it had been cheaper.

My card says LCO529 so not exactly the newest batch I’d wager.

 

hmmm, not much happening with this discussion any longer I see. Well let me tell you this much. This "KO" is in ways even better made than anything hasbro or Takara is putting out. The plastic quality is on par if not better. The joints tighter and the way it all lines up much better than my hasbro MP10. So if on the fence, I'd say if you have the money, go for it. I bet these will command a hefty price someday once they are no longer being produced.
