other than the voice performance for Prime, I am greatly enjoying Cyberverse. It's aimed at kids, but I dig the deep cuts they have been slipping in like Mcaddams and Rack and Ruin.

 

Those series were utterly garbage. Though I understand why some people are upset, this is not public domain, it's Machinma's property, they own it. Nobody has a right to use somebody's property without permission.

Well, as has likely been mentioned, we got CW on Bluray along with the Target release of TLK.

As for the the series in general... I'm fine with it disappearing into nothingness. Prime Wars was G1; you want accompanying media? Watch G1, or play Devastation on PS4.

 

I did like that Megs, but I never could find POTP. All in all, they were ok and good fun, but I won't miss them too much.

 

Not that there was much to steal to begin with... But yeah, this version of Megatron was stealing the show.

Now, that's a take on the character I'd like to see revisited in a better show. Or in a comic book.

 

Preferably a comic.

In other words, they quietly swept that hot mess under the rug, hoping everyone would forget it ever happened. Probably for the best. The series was not insultingly bad like RID. It was just unfortunately bad. You could tell that the team behind the series tried to produce something good with what they had, but what they had were a limited understanding of the source material and VERY limited resources.

The sarcasm in that statement is palpable.

 

Now what will I watch when I want to hate transformers?

Now, there's a difference between "having a limited budget" and "being able to write an enjoyable story", even with a lack of source material knowledge.

 

I didn't find CW to be as bad as Energon, honestly. Even then, I really can't say that there's a series that I absolutely hate in terms of Transformers cartoons. My personal thoughts were that the entire trilogy was a rush job to coincide with the release of the toyline, and had it been given much more time (and possibly more money), it could've been great.

Titans Return and Power of the Primes were much more interesting, and had cast members from Transformers cartoons of the past.

Its a shame though. I'll miss watching those to kill time.

the only time you cast a big name for a character that's going to die in less than 5 mins is when the actor is Sean Bean and I think he was a wee bit over budget for this especially the first one!

 

Did they really cast him as a target in Hitman?
