There is EVERYTHING unrealistic and naive about it if you've actualy been paying attention to the company that makes those films and their sense of awareness.

I think they should not make a part two to this movie.  Sequels are usually not good as the first.  I say move on to a different character, or move on to the next TF movie.  I say let it cool down for a couple of years, restart fresh.  Let people forget some the other movies.

It's possible that "Bumblebee 2" is just a working title as they may not even have anything beyond the greenlight for another film.

    YouTube (Legacy):
Actually, there is no working title. Not sure why the thread is labeled "Bumblebee 2" when that's not stated anywhere in the article. All they said is that a sequel is in development. This sequel could be the Optimus Prime film, Bumblebee's second solo film, the animated Cybertron movie, an ensemble Transformers film—anything really. It could be releasing 2 years down the line or 5 years into the future. We don't know anything other than that it's happening.

How is defending a movie that the "elite" are dissing considered movie god talk ? You got the right to call something "crap" but that doesnt make it crap. (unless your a god of course)

And another thing, who gave you (or anyone) the right to say what transformers shoyld or shouldn't be. (Oh its Transformers so its gotta be for kids and be family friendly) Last time I checked we were both adults and we love Transformers. If Michael Bay chose to target an audience of aging fans over a family type audience, than so be it. Dont put limits on who the brand can or cannot be marketed too. Everyone with a wallet is fair game. We got kiss players didnt we ? The Bayverse was for an older audience.

So a robot having testicles is stupid but a robot having noses and beards is not ? Cmon man, as much as we want transformers to exist in real life we cannot forget they are characters that were inspired by humans. Devastator can have balls. Garfield can walk on two feet. Ninja turtles eat pizza. The predator has dreadlocks. Anything humans create for entertainment is going to share something human. So why not balls ? Are your balls stupid ? Why cant Devy have them too ? The s**t cracked me up 10 years ago and it still cracks me up today. Knowing how many Transformers fans got pissed off makes it even more funny. But thats just my opinion. But I dont think they made the movie just for me. I think they damn well knew for every hater there would be like 20 fans.

If the suits change their minds and decide to embrace the reboot excitement, then Ratchet could very well be one of those Autobots in the sky and Bumblebee's voice could be fixed up real quick.
Though honestly I'm okay with Herbie the Cybertronian Bug.

I never thought I'd actually see a real human being argue in favor of giant robot testicles.
When you see someone comparing a movie waving testicles in your face to noses....existing...you know they've lost the plot.

I have a nose, too. Should I wave my testicles in your face? I promise my balls aren't stupid. To my knowledge.

It's not. It just takes greater care with its writing/characters than before while featuring G1 inspired visuals. That's about it.
But there are no testicles waving around so it must be G1? Those are the two options I guess. Either it's G1 or it's testicles.

Hey, hey, now, Devastator was not displaying his testicles inappropriately. His testicles were hanging right where they were supposed to be. Simmons chose to climb the pyramid, Simmons chose to look up and get an eyeful. Devastator is blameless, here. :lol

It has to be cost of the movie to do it in full CGI from Cybertron. There are far too many human characters.

That's sort of what I meant. We have no idea what the next movie will be, just that there is going to be one.

Actually, I DO have that right. It's called an opinion, and as you can see, not everyone (you especially) is going to agree with it. I don't agree with yours, clearly. It doesn't make you or I gods of anything. As much as you can say you love raunchy shit, I can say that it doesn't belong in this type of franchise. And speaking of putting "limits on who the brand can or cannot be marketed to", I would argue that eliminating/limiting a primary demographic (KIDS) from seeing these movies is far more hurtful. Obviously by TLK, major audiences were over Bayformers, hence the change in direction to begin with. There was 10 years of this. Time for a different approach. No one has taken away your Bayformers, just like no one has taken away G1 or any of the other various media in TF history.

EDITED FOR DECENCY. Even I know when I cross a line, lol.

Ah, I want the Cybertronian cast in 3A figure form. If Bumblebee 2 is proritised over the Cybertron film, then that means will be get Camaro bee and Earth modes of those autobots like Wheeljack and Brawn.

Spot on. The Bay movies were macho and I loved that about them. Not much of that around these days.

All this argument between Bay fans and G1 fans needs to please chill out.

-G1 happened. It started the franchise and has offered a strong template for future stories to spin from.
-The Bay movies happened. They revitalized the franchise and despite issues, brought some interesting new angles to the series.
-Bumblebee is both G1 and Bay, and yet also neither. The aesthetic follows from the detailed look of the Bay films, but the actual designs are more traditional. Paramount may yet be hesitant to declare it a reboot, but ultimately unless we eventually do get a sequel to TLK, there's ample reason to assume it is one. Even then, the better elements of the Bay films, such as Sector 7, will still be carried in to the new continuity.

The extreme ends of both sides seem to be freaking out at the aknowledment of the other. "If the human characters and mute Bumblebee remain, it's still Bayformer trash!" vs "If it's ignoring TLK and changing the designs, it's more of the same old G1!" But I don't get why there has to be all this hostility. Bumblee took the best elements of both versions and fused them seamlessly together. I for one am very happy with it, and hope the future projects can keep up this level of quality. Instead of treating this as a tug-of-war where it has to be on one side or the other, why not let it stay in the middle and see what happens?

Besides, I'm still waiting for some new Beast Wars content to crop up. You both have it lucky.

At any rate, mark me down as cautiously optimistic about this news. It definitely tells me Bumblebee was a success and they're likely to move forward with this style going forward. Things still have the potential to go horribly wrong, but there's also equal reason to assume they won't. We still don't know much at all about what to expect, really, so until we know more there's no point in jumping to doom and gloom predictions.

As for a Bumblebee 2 in particular, I can understand why people are feeling hesitant, but I think it's important to keep in mind a title does not a cast list make. Sure, another BB-focused film seems like a bit much, but that doesn't mean he'll necessarily be an exclusive focus. To draw comparisons with Marvel, consider that Black Widow played a huge supporting role in both Iron Man 2 and Captain America 2... Not to mention the cast of Civil War. I wouldn't be surprised if we had a few other Autobots involved by that point, even for another "solo" film.

Bonaventura said the bots from end scene come back somewhere.

I just waiting for situation when he finally close dark era of Bayformers and Bumblebee become independent movie without shadow of previous five movies about hunting for McGuffins.

An opinion becomes god like when you suggest that it becomes fact. The only thing that you got right is you have an opinion. Nothing wrong with that. Bottom line (AGAIN) Bayverse is not a kids franchise. It was never intended to be. You can take your kid to a Bayverse movie if you choose though. Theres no rule that you must raise your kid in a bubble. That is your choice. (Once again an opinion) But dont shove your movie morals down everyones throat. If its not your taste, dont go see it. But dont say its crap because you dont like it. That doesnt make it fact. The only fact is that you dont like it.

Also, correcting my grammer ? Are you f**king serious ? Its not like it was an intentional error, im using spell check on a cell phone dude. Wrong or right, my point was easily understandable. Im not an English teacher. Go harass some milenials on how their use of acronyms and hashtags butchers the english language.

Somebody buy this guy a beer ! He gets it...

Well, The Last Knight kill it pretty quick with drop almost 50%.

And I still believe Bayformers killed TFA.

If we're getting a sequel; I hope they bring Wreckage in it. He's one of the few characters that almost made it into the 07 film.
