Test four look perfect together. The scale is exactly what I was wanting.

Seeing them all together reinforces why I'm having a hard time justifying Shockwave's price tag. At least Ultra Magnus' armor is part of the character. As far as I can tell, Shockwave's armor exists for one sole purpose: to disguise the fact that he is a space age ray gun under the ruse of him being a "space ship". While that may be kind of clever, it makes him way over priced.

Not to me. The figure is excellent in build quality and design, and was worth every full retail price penny I spent.

I have no attachment to Sideswipe AT ALL. Always thought the Lambo brothers were a little boring.

Flywheels was always the Deluxe figure I set out to get first because he was one of the few G1 figures I had as a kid.

But when I saw FW and SS in my local Walmart the other day, and I could only leave with one Deluxe because they're $20 bucks now, guess who I walked away with? That's right. Sideswipe.

He. looked. That. Fantastic. In. Person. Made me wait on Flywheels. and boy am I glad that I did. Sideswipe is even more fantastic out of the box.

Do yourself a favor and get it ASAP.

All of these fantastic pics of Ultra Magnus are REALLY making me wish I had the $50 to pick him up at my Target the other day.

    Wow what an amazing figure.

I prefer this version of Ultra Magnus over the MP one.

It looks like an incredible Voyager sized figure. And I'm sure I'll probably cave eventually. But for now, while my budget is tight, I just can't justify the mark up to Leader price when it's really just a Voyager figure with some extra unnecessary parts.

i personally rather they add stuff like that (the extra for shockwave) so they dont push a new character slot to sell the add on later as a weaponizer to help go with the theme of the line, if u get what im saying.

Huh yeah, I'll probably make an exception for sideswipe (but not flywheels since I have no attachment to him either). Got a lot of figures I want coming up pretty soon, so if I have spare cash and see him in a store, I'll pick him up probably.

How good is he compared to Optimus prime? He's the only one I have so far but I am liking him a ton. (Ie is he a better figure?)

I have to be careful because if I'm not, siege might as well just own my bank account  :p  Way too many cool things in this line

IMO Shockwave is worth 35-40 ,but 50 is a bit much.

The base figure is great, and the spaceship mode/ and gun form are nice. the other sled and General Grievous robot modes dont do it for me. YMMV.

If you like the base figure - $35, if you like the armor pieces and the base figure $40.

I used a Target $25 gift card to knock him to $29.

I think UM is worth the $50 though. If I didnt have CW, I would get him too lol.

I don't own Optimus Prime and I don't plan to either. I have KuBianBao MP-10V Optimus Prime as my definitive Prime.

I will say that Seige Optimus Prime didn't impress me in person at all. His eyes are too small and too far apart. I like the battle damage on the Seige figures alot. But the battle damage on Prime looks really sloppy.

Huh maybe I'm just strange then :p  the battle damage on prime doesn't bother me that much (sure it's not the best I've seen, but it's not bad by all means) and I love his headsculpt and bodily proportions. I saw him next to Megatron in a local Target and I much preferred the look of prime (as much as I love megatron as a character). Then again, I don't own MP10V, so there's that.

I have yet to see any of the deluxes in person, they just sell out way too fast in my area :(

You're not weird. Your opinion is just different than mine. Which is cool. Differing points of view make life fun and interesting. I'm in the minority in my opinion about Siege Optimus Prime. And that's fine too.

Yeah this line is so popular (and justifiably so) that the figures disappeared in a matter of hours at my Walmart:

    7am on 1/18/19
    Sideswipe x1
    Hound x2
    Cog x2
    Skytread x2
    Optimus Prime
    Megatron
    Shockwave
    Ultra Magnus

4pm 1/18/19 (same day 9 hours later. I went back to see if I could score a Hound)
    Cog x2
    Shockwave

I'm really worried that I'm going to fall behind w/this line. The prices of CW, TR, and PotP were really pushing my budget to the limit. After owning some in person, the price hike of Siege is absolutely justified because the quality went way up with this line. But, at the same time, the price hike is straining my already tight budget.

I know it hurts the Transformers brand and I shouldn't be wishing for this but, I'm REALLY hoping some of these figures end up at the discount stores (5 Below, Ross, Marshall's etc etc) because that'll be my only hope at owning them

Nice! Where did you get that arm cannon you've got on Magnus?
