I asked but did not get a reply. But thanks! So if i understood correctly from what you read on fb they currently have the mpp10b in stock and if i order it today i would be receiving the glossy one not the matte one.

The last run? What about the regular mpp10? Did they say anything about stopping that one? Thing is i was gonna buy the regular one but then heard about how sought after the mpp10b glossy version was and then read about the reissue and now im torn. I can only order one for now... which one would you go for? Cause i could always order the regular colored one after no?

 

Just get which ever one you want. I doubt the black version will be that highly sought after going forward given this second release. Also you now have the MMP10H as an alternative if the MPP10B sells out again - quality is not there but it’s half the price.

 

I would rather have quality. I dont mind paying a little more and i have heard good things about the weijiang and how good the quality is, im just kinda late to the party and want to get these before theyre gone and also from a trusty seller like showzstore instead of getting it later more expensive from ebay and rolling the dice.

 

Get the glossy black version. The regular version will still be available. They have done multiple runs on that version and many dealers still have them.

 

Ok thanks! Yeah i read on the forums that for awhile the glossy version was highly sought after cause they had done the matte version which wasnt as popular. Has the quality changed on any of these (regular mpp10) on the different runs? Were the early ones better quality or have they more or less remained the same?

 

has anyone received one of the mpp10b from this new run? any differences or issues with quality compared to the earlier runs? i heard that the most recent OS megatrons from weijiang are prone to break around the feet and this was not the case with earlier runs. Just want to know if theres any truth to all this.

 

I received my MPP10B a few days ago and compared to my MPP10, the joints feel much tighter and stiff. I wouldnt say its a good or bad thing but its certainly noticeable.

 

Getting these off of Taobao isn't cheap unless you live in China.... You guys forget that the shipping is around $20.00 to the US....

 

Given these are made in China you are going to pay for shipping from China regardless of where you purchase them from.

 

No... I've seen them for around $50.00 shipped on E Bay and on Ali Express.... That's less then on TaoBao...

 

I assume you are talking about the recently released MMP10 and not the Weijiang MPP10 ? If so, taobao price ¥168 + ¥107 shipping (approx 2kg) = ¥275 ~ US$42. So like I said you are still paying for shipping regardless (plus some margin I might add).

 

The recent release of the MPP10 Blue, Black ones. I believe they are from a newer company from reading comments on them. Like I said I've seen them cheaper. I have not seen them for the $40 price range on that site... Done some digging and found them around $50 shipped. That's the cheapest price I've seen so far. I'll keep an eye out and see if the price drops a bit.

 

MPP10 Blue is MMP-10 Blue. MPP-10 is about RMB299. The recent KO (MMP-10 blue, black, OG) are MMP-10 which is about RMB168 on Taobao. The recent announcement of a MPP-10Black glossy reissue is still going to be RMB329 which is still cheaper then Ebay unless its a flash sale purchase.

the new cheaper ones by a different company are simplified so not the same quality as the origianl mpp10 which is why they are cheaper , less diecast and more plastic , mittens for hands with no articulated fingers ect

 

Again I saw it cheaper on E Bay and on Ali Express... With the fees involved along with the $20.00 for shipping.... You guys keep saying it's cheaper on Taobao and I checked the prices for what I'm looking for and I don't see it any cheaper then what I have found on the other sites...

 

We are going around in circles - as I and others have mentioned search for MMP10 not MPP10. There’s a difference in the letters if you didn’t notice.

Not every brand offers significant savings on Taobao. Some brands offer big savings others not so big.
Also if it is an item that is drying up and harder to find like the original run of the higher quality MPP10/MPP10B then yeah, the Taobao sellers will begin to mark up their prices accordingly, just like Ebay sellers do.
Make sure you're doing a Taobao search for MMP10 and not MPP10 if MMP10 is what you're really looking for. MMP10 is a new release.
I just ordered Zeta Toys Silver Arrow off Taobao. It was just released so it is plentiful. My grand total after shipping and fees will be $115 USD shipped. Much better than ShowZ price of $135 shipped or higher from NA retailers and Ebay at the moment.
If you find it cheaper elsewhere by all means go for it. I certainly do.
