Not the best lighting, but here's a pic of him in my display with a couple other red robots. Personally I think he looks fine.

    Me too.

Anyone in the market for 15 Shiny season 1 Arkbots (Huffer and Gears are matte, so I could keep them)?

    Thanks.

I would love to make it a project to disassemble him and give him a total custom paint job (giving him accents, such as silver intakes, as on MP10 and paint the lights, like the Hasbro version of Prime).

Unfortunately, I just don't have the time right now, as I still have my entire World of Smog collection to start and Incursion collection to finish up).

Hey guys, I have a question: Are the yellow arrows painted on or plastic pieces(as per MP-10)? Thanks in advance.

Guys, "Customs" full name is Customs and Border Protection (CBP). CBP aren't effected currently by the shut down. Not saying they aren't slow as ass, but they're not shutdown (as of this posting).

MP-44 has a shiny finish that will match the other MPs, but I think his massive size is a bigger issue than MS’s matte finish. I mean, look at how much bigger he is than MP-01!

So after a week of having him I still keep fiddling with him cause he’s so much fun.

Nothing broke, still sturdy, and very enjoyable, I didn’t know how much I needed a ab crunch in my MPs now thanks MS

    Hell even Megatron loves him

Paint on raised molded detail if you mean on his wrists, translucent plastic if you mean his pelvis.

Ok...so a guy on Facebook is telling people the bonus parts that come with first batch of this guy include a head with light up eyes. I certainly didn't get one...

Kinda what I'm wondering. Any incentive to buy batch 1 over batch 2?

as far as I have read, the bonus parts are the battle damage bits that he comes with. I think that the 2nd batch will not include them bits.

What guy, because I didn't get one either, and I don't think anyone else here has mentioned it.

I don't think that is in any way true. No light up function or bonus head was ever mentioned throughout the entire project. If that was the case, they would have announced it, or retailers would have, in order to boost more sales over the competition.

I think there needs to be a balance when it comes to paint. Too much, and you have chipping problems. Too little, and the figure looks a bit too bland. Paint should be used to accent detail and in areas that don't rub, slide, or connect (i.e. tabs) to other areas. You can get away with more on action figures than you can with Transforming ones because they have less moving parts that come in contact with one another.

Thanks. I feel the same way, I wish it had some shine to it. But I have some ideas for that and hopefully one of them will work. Looking at him this morning, the finish isn't too bad. Overall, he's really well done. The back waist skirts are kind of weird, but they work. Other than that, the figure is simply well made and the design is very clean. I'm impressed with how good this release is!
