The mold is just tired and worn out. Between the official and various KOs, I have somewhere close to 30 MP jets. MP-11NR Ramjet is just unimpressive, has loose joints, poor fit, and even with the mold changes he just has too much shit in the way to pose well. It is past time to retire that mold.

 

Agree on that point. I for one never liked the MP11 mold. People on here may think I am a freak of nature, but the original MP seekers with the wings that I could detach from their hips are my favorite. Yes it's parts forming and not quite transforming, but like I give a damn. LOFL! And I never cared for the damn feet that they were redesigned with. Some on here hated the old style foot, but for me that was better than the new feet that swivel in an odd manner. They lack stability and hence the need for heels, which I absolutely hate. We all have our opinions and likes and dislikes. Now all I need is some Conehead brutes!! Now those are some damn impressive boys!! Yay!!!

 

Anyone who lives in Hong Kong can get a great deal on the 3 coneheads new from Robotkingdom. The shipping is the kicker for someone in the US. A mere $155 which brings it to about $91 per bot. Still not a good deal. haha

 

I have the TW coneheads but picked up the defective Ramjet from BBTS for curiosity sake. it’s a pile of crap on its own merits without even comparing it to the TW. And I happen to like the MP-11 mold for the seekers. But the TW coneheads are the best jets of the bunch.

 

Robotkingdom has them. I am itching to get them. It would be nice to have them and say screw finding a set of used ones. haha. A reissue of them could happen and then it may not. If I knew for sure they were being reissued there is no guarantee that the price will be better compared to now. At robotkingdom it comes to about $91 per figure with shipping. Shipping is the unicorn in this transaction.

 

They are great toys, built rock solid and look great. My only gripe is that they could use some ratchets which has been said by others as well. As good as any toy I’ve spent $90 on.

 

I'm purging my collection and these are on the list to go. Seriously these guys are the physical embodiment of Decepticon thug. So much fun and so well built. I truly do love them, but hey, life and such, so they gotta go.

Haven't even thought about pricing them yet, but I'll definitely do better than eBay prices. If anyone is interested just PM me. If not, they'll wind up in the Junkion Exchange in a week or so. Then eBay....

 

Yea they look solid from the reviews. I think comparing the price people got them at last year during the TFS sale to the prices right now makes it difficult to buy brand new, but a sale like that is one that comes around once in a great while and sometimes you just get lucky and take advantage of it.

I grabbed one of the defect Ramjets too, which arrived today, and yeah, not a coincidence I ended up at this thread. Been awhile since I’d touched that mold, and figured for $30 why not. Definitely interested in an upgrade now.

 

Well my patience paid off and I got all 3 of these brutes on ebay at a damn good price! Gotta love them!! They are big, bad and ready to dismember some autobots! They blow away any seeker I own and they are definitely in a class of their own. And I could care less if they are bit taller. It just works.... And if anyone needs all 3 boxes I am selling them so message me if interested. I am selling them dirt cheap and if I get no interest in them then into my recycling bin they will go. I just don't do boxes...

 

Anyone have a picture of how to use these Toyworld flight stand properly? Don't think I have it right. Need some more ides.

 

Just a thought - if nobody bites on the boxes, you could take the cover art and frame it.

 

There is a hole on the bottom of the jet mode that is hidden with a spring loaded plug.
