The way I see it working is you start with Transformers & G.I. Joe, don't have them crossing over with one another directly. In G.I. Joe I could see some references or cameos that would connect it with and lead into MASK. Bring in MASK after the Transformers have been established in universe, I could see MASK & VENOM having their tech coming from reverse engineering Cybertronian tech gathered from one of the Transformers fights. Further down the road you could bring in ROM once you've established the universe off the planet Earth & Cybertron, but the way I see it ROM can only crossover with Transformers since G.I. Joe & MASK both take place on Earth. If you really want to start crossing over I could see a few G.I. Joes appearing in a few cameos in both MASK & Transformers as well.

The way I see it keep them separate and don't try to be ballsy and go full on Avengers/Justice League by having the different properties crossing over it just wouldn't work. Instead fill them with nods and cameos to establish each as happening in the same continuity.

It's a horrible idea that will lose millions of dollars but that doesn't seem to be stopping them.

Why not do it like the 80s hasbroverse. People forget those cartoons took place in the same universe and they even added mask to it later! They just had little nods here in there or a cameo from hawk in transformers, or a cold slither song in transformers, or dinobot island in gijoe, or inhumanoids in a news clip on jem and the shows went their own ways.

The best way is let the comics do their own thing with little nods here in there. Shogun warriors and the nam are both part of the marvel universe but had no ties to each other other then they are in the same world.

Plus the 80s cartoons were in the same world and did fine. Jem didn't fight cobra even though she was in the same world.

Actually, the concept would work if it's done right. The thing is that, in order to make the crossover of this scale could work is to sorta have a combination of blending along well, some clever writing, a crazy good marketing campaign and such.

Also. Beyblade is out of the picture for a good reason.

    You start with Transformers.
The US Gov'ment response is to form GI Joe.
Joes and 'Formers realize they fighting on the same side, defeat Decepticons.
This spins off into the GI Joe movie vs a new global threat: Cobra
Factions within Cobra form, then splinter off on their own and form Venom
While the Joes are busy fighting Cobra on a global scale, a new subset of the team is formed to handle domestic terrorism: MASK
Venom makes a deal with Decepticons for TF tech, in exchange for fuel or whatever. Unable to replicate cybertronian tech they do what they can and develop their own TF-esque technology. Meanwhile Joes/MASK were already working with Autobots and have a mobile unit already in place.
VENOM's vehicles are crude but deadlier. MASK's are sleeker and more advanced

i cant see it working to be honest ....
while many of us Transformers fans that grew up in the 80s are likely fans of some of the other series , i cant imagine much of the cinema going public being interested in the likes of ROM or micronaughts .

Much as i would love a M.A.S.K reboot , i think they need to try a standalone movie first . To be honest these shared universes are starting to bore me .

I have no interest in GI Joe whatsoever and feel they have no place in the Transformers comics let alone any movies .

None, besides most past attempts being awful, crossovers should just be saved for big, dumb fun

GIJoe and Transformers can easily share the same universe. MASK can be a Cybertronian Tech derivative plotline and can also slide in without much difficulty.

ROM isn't bad - he can (and did) expand the Hasbro Universe to beyond Earth and Cybertron.

But I feel the other bits of the franchise need to stay far away from the Earth conflict. The big 3 of TF, GIJ and MASK need room to breathe.

But in terms of movies, all of these need movies on their own before incorporating other Hasbro elements - except MASK, which needs to use Cybertronian tech references.

This is the best way. Though I could see M.A.S.K and Joe working together with TF.

I'm not familiar with Rom, Visionaries and Micronaughts.

    Power Rangers is a no.

Thumbs up on TFs, Joe and MASK. Visionaries seemed cool but I never quite got into them.

    Eff the power rangers.

Joe and Mask work better and compliment each other more naturally. I think you would almost have to shoehorn or force TFs into a joint universe there. DEFINITELY does not work with power rangers, though.

Cartoon verse would work but movies not so much. The TFs would be overshadowed by human characters.

    The movies should progress as:

GIJoe 1. Start with the most grounded franchise.

Transformers 1. Introduce your most popular IP while expanding the world-building.

MASK 1 is also GIJoe 2. Basically a plot around special teams using Cybertronian tech.

Transformers 2. Events from MASK carry over but are not central to the plot.

ROM 1. Separate intergalactic story leads to the discovery of the Vok/Swarm and ROM on Earth.

Visionaries 1. A reworking of the franchise featuring holographic shapeshifting and time travel.

JEM 1. Visionaries tech falls into the hands of an 80's record producer and the ultimate holographic girl band is born.

GIJoe VS Transformers. This is the ultimate crossover where The Vok/Swarm arrives on Earth, brings the Hate Plague and GIJoe/MASK/ROM have to combat both insane Autobots and Decepticons. JEM can be seen on a television or Youtube video somewhere as a cameo.

Or...something like that. Anyhow, the idea is to build up the world before doing the kitchen sink movie.

As much as I love Visionaries, it would gut the show to have Transformers show up when the whole point of the show is that technology is dead.
