Finally part of the MS-01 club. Paid my PO for one (95USD) locally and expecting to get it in the next week or so. Can’t wait. This will be my first proper Mastepiece scaled OP as I never gotten an MP10 cause I always felt it looks ugly with the long arms and stubby legs. I actually vastly prefer my MP01 for the longest time until I sold it cause that thing is only good for standing still. Any action pose and he will topple over due to the top heaviness. In fact that is the figure that made me hate die cast in transformers. Eventually the heavy top will make any joints loose or worse broken (SIC figures come to mind).

 

Great figure but noticed this when I took it out, also the screw's scratch easy when swapping helmets but that might be my screwdriver

I think one of the windshield wipers is slightly bent?

 

I saw that but couldn't that just be bent back or heated and reshaped easy? Not making excuses for it...just wasn't what I was looking for I guess.

Yay! Show.Z just shipped my MS Optimus, was getting a bit worried there. Thought maybe they didn't have enough of the 1st batch to cover all the preorders or something (took almost a week since I paid).

 

Well, I finally saw enough pictures/videos that I wanted this one. I kind of hope they follow up with a trailer down the road somewhere although like others, I have a mixed feeling about it. It feels necessary in a way but I have the trailer for the oversized MPP10 and I hardly ever do anything with it. It just sits and gathers dust... But I'm pretty sure this figure won't!

 

All these shots further help cement my decision to go with the MS-01 good sir!

 

Re wiper, take windshield out, heat the wiper gently with a hair dryer until it's warm but not too hot then hold straight until it cools.

It's an easy fix. Unless there are a load of other QC issues on yours.

Mines been perfect.

 

It looks very close to the upcoming mp44 but has it's own designs.
Actually, i like this one more than takaras mp44.

 

Can MS01 hold MP10's oversized gun from the kit that included smoke stacks, light up head?
