I was surprised by that, but it's pretty standard in terms of Marvel Legends, figuarts etc. Once that set in I was cool. Tho, I would have liked a pointing finger so I can do Charlie bonding moments and stuffs.
Hot damn that Bee looks awesome! Waiting for some 3P company to come up with a transformable one that has this look for bot mode.
I COMPLETELY agree with you! I even thought the movie was just SO SO. BUT.. The design of Bee is great, and THIS piece is a work of art. This may be my 1st non-transforming Transformer.
Hi guys, im just curious, what are some movie characters that you think realy need a studio series figure.
Still doesn't stop me from ordering him, just is my complaint. Will for sure jump on the early Blitzwing order.
Wait. They're doing a blitzwing? How have I not heard of this, I want this even more now... I'm so tied up now, should I get this and continue with this dlx line, or go with the iron warrior tf prime line. Ugh i'm so torn now.
Finally made it out to see this movie today and very much enjoyed it! My fiancée enjoyed it as well; she is obsessed with all of the animalistic/monsterous Transformers (especially the Dinobots) but cares very little for the vehicular characters, and now has added Bumblebee to the small list of the latter she cares about (basically Kup, Arcee, and Wheelie). She demanded that I add the movie version of Bumblebee to my/our collection (I'm mostly a Gee-wunner), and for the first time I find myself pre-ordering a non-transforming Transformer because it represents the character so well. This Bee is gorgeous!
I've been ignoring this cuz 3a figures are so expensive but I decided to take a look and it's not that bad. Only $140. He's just adorable and I love him and I need him. I think I'll have to come up with a Charlie figure too. Maybe I'll get that grl power figure and 3d print a new head for her (there's a reason none of the photos have her face toward the camera).
It's such a small piece of the design, but the foot design and forearm design are freaking awesome on Bumblebee. Love the giant shoes feeling the feet give off, and that arm design has all the right curves perfectly. Everything about the revisions they put in to make him feel younger are so absolutely much more design perfection. Even the torso and head, but those arms and legs, I really like the curvature and way they did the plating on him. It feels both robotic and alive/metal organic, with the more streamlined curved approach to the paneling. Amazing photos as always!
