I know there’s the craze about the VF-1J at the moment (lol), but anyone interested in a DX Chogokin YF-19? Looking to sell it at the price I purchased it ($300 + Shipping) As I find myself in need of more space for future purchases.

NeoMatter clarified this over at MWF, but the arms needs to be offset as shown on pic#1 to get the arms properly secured in.

It's weird, but it is what it is right now at least with NeoMatter's DX-1J.

I'll check on mine after work.

Nope. I'm suspecting as others have stated there maybe some flash that needs shaving inside. But i'm not brave enough to take mine apart to see...

Yeah probably something simple like that. It's more of a curiosity for me as it doesn't bother me enough to tinker. I don't really even notice it at most angles.

My gut tells me it's a Toynami suggestion.
"It looks great guys, but can you put some color into the stand? Otherwise how will people be able to see it?
How about...I don't know, *takes big swig of Surge* neon green?"

So far I'm still on track to grab a KK VF-1. It's pretty low on the priority list at the moment but I haven't seen or heard anything to turn me away yet.

And it doesn't split in half during transformation. :p

So I ordered my DX from Amazon JPN on the 5th and I was just notified that a pristine package has been delivered to my house in Florida this morning (Jan 8th!).

Of course I'm still in Wisconsin, so I can't enjoy it for a few more days, but STILL, that's damn fast service!

I think you're going to get dinged by CBSA for the DX VF-1J. It's either you get tagged or not. I have gotten stuff from Amiami and 2 recent purchases got slapped with Customs (VF-27 Bera and with 2 Figuarts, Trident stand, AY Betsy months later).

Mmm, Surge. Couldn't get a case for Christmas this year because it sold out. Can't find it in stores.

I need to figure out where to display this bad boy (DX). I don't have space in detolf, maybe put it on top of a detolf or on my computer desk. I know, third world problem...

I'm in the same predicament lol. I finally cracked open this bad boy...

It does come with it's own stand which I have not taken out to look at:

It also has these "option parts" just like the yammies/arcadia 1/60 v2s could come with

When I took it out, I didn't transform it yet, but I folded the wings to see if there's that misalignment:

Luckily there seems to be no misalignment, but I'll transform it later and check again.

The exclusive stand it pretty nice:

I do like the details for the exhausts that the Yammies/Arcadia did not have:

    Now where to put this...

Yeah my desk is full....so to speak :lol  But I'll find a spot.

    Thanks.
I guess all have unbox and make do with my Valkarie Factory 1/60 KO from ShowZ until my 1/48 DX arrives.

Count me in on the people with a VF31 that is loosening...my 31 Messer ver has substantially looser shoulder swivels [the fighter to gerwalk swing joint, not the actual shoulder though] than when first received. Then again, it has been transformed a few times.

I'll double check my VF31A a few months down the line---that one went from fighter to gerwalk to battroid to back to fighter and has stayed that way since the first day I got it, so no excuse that it's been handled if the joints end up loose.

Agreed and unfortunately that's common for the DX Frontier valks. Hope it isn't with the DX VF-1.

On the ball joints I heard it doesn't. One of the tips recommended was to use a piece of silicone(cushions between the joint and housing) to tighten the joints.

Not sure if any of you DX-1J owners have the same annoyance/issue, but just some continuance on this arms-alignment annoyance with my recent post at MWF:

Ok. Mine doesn't pop out by itself just yet in comparison with DWC's and NeoMatter's.

    At any rate...

Don't really think I can even actually offset the arms or not on mine, but here are pics of my DX 1J's arms connected but somehow misaligned:

    dx-1j-arms-back-gerwalk-1.JPG
Maybe a bit difficult to spot it, so here's another pic along with the yammie:
    160-n-DX-1Js-arms-not-deployed-in-gerwalk.JPG
See the misalignment on the DX's arms, yet?

Now here's a pic with the gunpod attached to make the misalignment go away:

    160-n-DX-1Js-arms-gunpod-attached-in-gerwalk.JPG
It's an annoyance. May trigger some OCD if you're into proper symmetry and alignment.

Fwiw, the yammie 1/60v2 has tiny tab/dimple combo on its arms to peg together and align nicely.

In contrast, the DX arms are clean and does not have any tabs like the yammie. You'll have to attach the gunpod to join and align its arms together flushed in Gerwalk-mode.

Fighter-mode seems to use the connected legs/backpack as leverage/pressure to keep the arms aligned and flushed.

Mine is set to be delivered tomorrow from Amazon.jp, however I'm not planning on going over to my parents and picking it up until I get out of work on Thursday.
