Because it has badly balanced action. There's almost no action scenes in first half (Chernobyl has very little of it), some scenes with Sentinel Prime and human-filler, which is boring, then, it has non-stop action in second half which is also boring. So essentially, almost whole movie is boring because of that. Also, I dont like "replacement girl" because of which, all Sam's plotline suffer. DOTM also has "Deep Wang" which I just cant stand.

ROTF may be sillier overall, but I think is more balanced & has better pacing.

Also, I've spent some time on editing it to more friendly (and more 80s style) form, and watched it that way a few times, it's possible it influenced my judgment on this movie a bit.

Revenge of the Fallen hands down. I came out of the cinema fuming and ready to give up on the franchise.

After enjoying the 07 movie, And thinking the trailers looked good, I was horrified with what we got...

Leo. The most annoying human character ever.

The return of Simmons, the first sign of goofiness in the Baymovies.

The absolutely horrible face designs of the Twins. Robots with buck teeth? Seriously?
    (I already hated Rattrap)

The genuinely funny humour of the first movie replaced with forced, cheap humour.

Sam's parents losing their charm from the first film.

The new cool looking Autobots like Sideswipe, Jolt and Arcee relegated to tertiary characters.

Optimus Prime's out of character, "Give me your face!"

The Last Knight is the only one that truly sucked ass. I loved them all but walking out of TLK I felt like I just got kicked in the nuts.

You are totally right..the robots action sequences is become lesser, people felt bored to see such complicated story and human fight scene already. Bumblebee is good movie but not a great movie, people will go see once in Theatres and it's done.

Wait...did you really chop ROTF down to 10 minutes? Bahahah

And I will concede that ROTF would have been a million times better than it was had they cut the whole Alice subplot, minimized the robo-humping and lowbrow humor and reduced the roles/changed the characterizations of the twins.

One thing I never thought any of the movies were worse than the others in was when it came to cringe. I think ALL of the Transformers movies are about on the same level when it comes to "cringe." Bee and 1986 weren't any less cringey than the Bay movies; they were just less hard PG-13 cringe and generally more PG. The Junkions dancing and Charlie's mom are just as much cringe as Judy Witwicky or Devastator in my opinion. Nor is the 2007 movie less cringey than the sequels. "Sam's Happy Time" is no better than a Blenderbot. Nor is the original trilogy any less cringey than AoE/TLK. KSI's cube transformations were no dumber than Sam's journey into the Matrix or the Allspark being the size of a house but shrinking to the size of box light enough to be carried by Sam.

That's not a criticism against any of the films either. Many of the "cringey" things in all seven theatrical Transformers films are things I enjoy. Frankly, I think Transformers movies should have things that are "cringey." It's Transformers of all things. I just don't think there's this big difference in between the cringiness of 1986/2007/RotF/DotM/AoE/TLK/Bumblebee like many fans think there is. Granted "cringe" is extremely subjective, so it's whatever.

This is how I felt. The Last Knight was the first Transformers movie where I walked out of the theater, not only feeling dissatisfied, but also trying to figure out what I just watched. Age of Extinction, while I’m not the biggest fan of that film, had plenty of plot points set up for the Last Knight to continue from and they just...completely abandoned them. It didn’t feel like a sequel to Age of Extinction. It just felt like it’s own thing.

If you look over nostalgia and the Animation. The 86' movie is just an extended episode of the G1 cartoon. There are many memorable moments, but it's not a good movie.

Overall TLK is the worst film.

But each film has their moments.

The Last Knight was a confusing mess and even someone like me who thought it was fun has to admit that, ROTF suffered horribly because of everything from a writers' strike to technical problems with animating Devastator. But for me, the worst Transformers film HAS to be Age of Extinction. None of the new protagonists are all that likable, even the more interesting characters like Hound and Crosshairs. The Dinobots lack character and are introduced at the end of the film. The human characters are downright despicable human beings at worst (Cade and Shane) and annoying at best (Tessa). The old cast is dumped without any regard for them as characters. The plot takes massive breaks for the most uncomfortable shit ever (that Romeo and Juliet law scene is legitimately hard for me to watch), and it introduces more plot holes than the previous two films combined. It gets worse every time I think about it. I will say that it did have some interesting ideas and some genuinely good villains (Lockdown, Attinger, Joyce before his heel-face turn, Galvatron in concept), but to me, that just isn't good enough. Good for you if you were able to look past all the trash and see the treasure, but it just wasn't for me. I'll admit The Last Knight is probably objectively worse with characters that go nowhere or are forgotten about by the time of the movie's end, the "Transformers have been influencing human history" idea is executed in the laziest way ever beyond the King Arthur stuff, and it almost killed the live-action Transformers films. However, it does a good enough job of feeding off my nostalgia for the previous films that I had a fun time watching it, even when what I was watching made no sense whatsoever.

Bumblebee gives me hope that such quality is behind us, and we can one day escape the reputation the previous live-action sequels have earned for Transformers.

Tlk which enjoys plot holes and continuity issues evwb more impressive than prior efforts.

2-5 were all varying levels of poor but TLK takes the cake

Honestly can’t think of one that I put below the other. All of the films have something that I like, but I suppose TLK has to be the default.

2007 film and BB were great, and I adore DOTM and AOE, so ROTF and TLK are my least favorite. ROTF has a lot of good scenes imo, but is brought down by the dumb scenes revolving humans.

TLK is kinda the same, but there was just sooooooo much wasted potential. I always feel like ROTF was even considered until after the 2007 film was a hit. TLK on the other hand, was teased at the end of AOE, but it fell flat on most of the elements it teased.

So, despite Cogman and Nitro Zues, The Last Knight is Emmy’s least favorite TF film.

For me, it's AOE. That movie needs to be buried next to that ET game. Also, can we vote for more than one movie?
