Minibots out at East.

 

I grabbed a Shockwave. It was all they had. The hunt continues.

They also had carded assortments of Botbots. I was tempted until I noticed that not every character in an assortment appears in only that assortment. A couple of the individual characters appeared in more than one of the named teams. That seems scummy to me.

I also checked Fitchburg. Nothing interesting except a Studio Series Ironhide.

 

Man it's hard to buy the Leaders which are Voyagers with extra parts. They look nice, but that's a huge pill to swallow. I think these are all going on my camelcamelcamel list to notify me when they are 30%-50% off.

 

I agree. The core Shockwave looks good, but I do not understand the appeal of the throwaway partsformation kit. There had to be better characters they could have chosen for that gimmick. Maybe Thunderwing or something.

 

I hit several 4 Targets, 2 Walmarts, 1 Meijer, and 1 Walgreens today and all I came home with was PotP Wreck-Gar. Barely any Siege out there let alone Leaders. Bah!

 

Finally managed to grab a clearance Devastator for $54 in Watertown. The other day brickseek said they didnt have any then they suddenly had 1. Didnt look like a return, but im glad either way, because i wasted my Sunday driving to Beaver Dam hoping to get one it said they had and didnt.

 

I haven’t seen a Devastator since probably Thanksgiving. Guess my plan of waiting to get one on clearance backfired on me.

 

Racine Target is getting Leaders on Friday

 

Madison East Target had 2 of each Siege leader and 2 each of the voyagers. I took one Optimus and Megatron leaving the other 2.

 

Went to all 4 targets in the madison area. If you want battle masters your set. Anything else siege your outta luck.

 

Found a lone Siege Megatron and picked him up at the Chase Ave. Target.

 

full case of siege deluxes at Walmart 108/Layton. I took a lone Optimus, I assume someone else got the Megatron. Not sure if I'm collecting this line yet, those deluxes are all still there.

Nothing of note at Meijer on Layton or Target in Brookfield (damn I got around today!)

 

Nothing of note at WM in Pewaukee or New Berlin either. I hit up the Brookfield Target yesterday expecting nothing and wasn't surprised I got what I expected.  

 

Still a bunch of minibots in Watertown. Also G1 Hotrod down to $15.

 

Anyone still want one of those Walgreens shockwaves, theres one at 76th & ColdSpring.

Target Sun Prairie: staff says Siege deluxes, voyagers, and leaders are on a pallet in the back somewhere, waiting for the mysteries of the stock system to summon them forth, but until then they’re basically impossible to find. Could take days. I’ve had similar conversations at other Targets all over town this week.

Madison Hilldale has the Siege wave 1 out as of yesterday. I like the look of Shockwave of course but he's just so small for a leader class figure. The detailing of the battle damage looks great though.

 

He's too small for a Voyager. He's a bit shorter than Meg's and looks scrawny in comparison.

 

Ran into a fellow collector at the Walmart in Germantown this morning, but didn't catch his name. I was the fellow with the cop mustache...hopefully he's on the boards as well.
