It's like Hasbro had spare parts, put them in a blender, glued them back together, and called it a figure.
This is really disappointing. After Dropkick I didn’t think Shatter could be that bad in comparison, but alas, she very much is. That chest is way too small, the head is an old concept design that wasn’t used, and despite that this is just her car mode, the kibble on her back is really horrible. It’s a shame because I really wanted a Shatter figure.
Sometimes I wonder if they even care about their own line. This is crap. It\'s something that these guys could have easily made and made well. To put if in the Studio Series line is just lame.
i always thought that it was a bit crap that they did not make them voyager tripple changers. maybe that would have turned out better, i know that voyager would be to big when it comes to the scale focus of this line but still. hoping blitzwing turns out better.
Sadly looks like a first pass at a movie design. That is a real shame, but at least the car mode still looks kinda cool.
Man I dunno what happened but she just looks shit now. I was excited when the renders were shown and the brief toy reveals at that con but this isn’t right. Like the chest is too square and perfectly aligned. The head is weird and not accurate. I need to see more pictures of it.
If someone makes a good replacement head, I’d get this. Hell, I’ll probably get it either way. I really liked Shatter as a villain- more so than Dropkick, though I did like him as a henchman-mook character-, but Shatter stole the show for me. The rest of the figure looks fine to me, I just really hate that the head doesn’t look close to how she is in the movie. She’ll be great with Studio Series VW Bumblebee and Dropkick as alternate-reality Bay-aligned Bumblebee movie figures, I just hate that their slicker, updated designs from the actually good movie will probably never get figures that aren’t 3A, and that’s just Bumblebee. Still, guess I’m game. I’ve settled for worse when it comes to characters I like. Hey RID Underbite, Cyberverse Shadow Striker, and literally every Airachnid, how are you guys?
Kinda strange Shatter got car mode and Dropkick helicopter in Studio Series. But I am mostly disappoint with face. After six movies and Hasbro still working on toys from concept arts.
Going by the comments here, it looks like I won't have trouble finding this figure. Kibble aside, this figure looks pretty nice.
