    YouTube (Legacy):
A Beast Wars movie can work if has Hasbro has a strong grip and the director has a solid vision of what he wants to do and doesn't allow the producers (well, mainly Lorenzo) have a huge say in the project. Having a fan of the franchise direct again is a big plus. Clearly, Bumblebee worked so there is a small hope they don't fuck it up.

I loved Beast Wars, but I wouldn't want to see it made as a live action film.

A beast wars film could definitely work!

But does Bumblebee need a sequel?

HECK NO. Stay the frackin' heck away from Beast wars! Only Sue Blu is allowed to touch that sacred time of history. Bumblebee was amazing and I hope and pray for its success in the financial corner. But please oh please leave Beast wars alone, nobody is Hollywood can be trusted with it.

If Bumblebee succeeds, I doubt these movies will actually be made.(apart from the Optimus Prime film) To me, these are just rumours. Many of us don't realise that a Beast Wars movie may appeal to many fans, however to the public? I don't think so. If it only appeals to fans, it'll fail!!

Maybe, however imagine it in a live action movie!! How would that work?!? You see an animal transform into a robot, how stupid and strange would that look? It could work for a cartoon or ANIMATED movie but not for a live action movie. I'm not trying to come off rude in this post, but a Beast Wars movie would be unrealistic.

Unrealistic maybe, but could still be strangely interesting if done correctly. However a fully cg animated Beast Wars Movie would obviously be better, but I would like to see it done in live action at least once

Bumblebee's performance is a far cry from bombing. That's hyperbolic.

    What does John Warden know?

You know what, I'm all for it. However, let's come up with some rules to help them:

    #1 Original voice cast.
#2 Tone down the craziness of the transformations.

Beast Wars could be interesting if they went with the original concept, and made them genetically-engineered experiments. Or alternatively, they could bring in the "lost colonies" concept to the films.
I mean, we've seen the time travel thing. I don't really want a 1:1 remake of that, I want something that can stand up on its own.

But, uh... Bumblebee isn't really a financial success yet. It's a critical success, but it needs that $$$$ if they're gonna make sequels.

I would love a Beast Wars, and a stand alone Optimus Prime movie. Honestly I got a kick out of the Bumble Bee movie even though I've always thought of the character as the jar jar binks of the franchise. It blows my mind that's there is so much negatively surrounding the film. It delivered exactly what it said it would; a family friendly action flick about giant transforming mecha with heavy influence from the source material. A transformers flick doesn't need to have convoluted plot points for adult sensibilities to be a good.

No it's right BB is bombing, seeing as they would need to make double on the money they used to make the film in order to say it made a profit.

Money used to make BB: $137 million
Money BB has gotten from Box Office so far: $196.6 million
Money they need to say they made a profit on BB: $274 million

I remember I wrote up an idea for a live action beast wars. I hope someone who’s an actual fan can direct and give some creative control.

I think it will get to that number.

And right now, I comparing this to another $135 million movie called TMNT Out of the Shadows.

It just made $40 million in China... in 2 days. That hasn't been tallied up on Box Office Mojo yet.
