I wouldn't be surprised if we see this guy on the shelves in like a months time, I'm getting flashbacks to the battletrap situation where they went from leaked to everywhere in a month and a half

Looking a the larger images, the detailed molding on his "shins," abs, ab recesses, and forehead crest are awesome.

Actually, Battleslash and Roadtrap went from "concept art on a poor quality cell phone photo of a computer screen" in July straight to "released in Singapore" on New Year's Eve 2017. (They were released at US retail not long afterwards, before Hasbro "officially" revealed them at Toy Fair in February, assuming you're misremembering the Singapore retail sighting as a "leak", or consider any retail release in a country you don't live in a "leak".)

If Siege deluxe is what we get for moving from $15 to $20 and this is what we get for Voyagers moving from $25 to $30. Then I"m kinda happy with how that worked out. I mean compare this to CW OP for a $5 difference.

Fantastic. No fake windhsield or other fake Kibble. It's been a while since we had that on a prime

It seems to me that he mistransformed it for the arms in the review. So I'd imagine that he might have not put the truck mode together that well. Overall I got a fairly good sense of the figure from the review. But I still have one question. Is this like Siege Optimus height or is it taller?

And would you look at that – it does have a trailer hitch. He must have forgotten to flip it out in the initial pic.

EDIT: I'm blown away by the transformation on this thing. This is some 3P-level shit. I can't even. Holy fuck.

That's literally old-ROTF engeenering right here.

The transformation is impressive, NO FAKE KIBBLE, this thing has almost MP level articulation (asidefrom the hands obviously), if they can make this desgin even better into a MPM i would just cry of joy.

Also i like the fact the separation of his chest allows a possibe matrix chamber. (for future toys at least).

Why the heck the other Optimus voyagers in SS aren't this complex?, even with the MPM released.

well the first studio series optimus was part of the "test wave" so i get why they did not want to make the figure to complex, the 2nd prime is an improved version of the first plus the combiner gimick so we can see why they did not make it more complex, however if we get a DOTM version it most likely will be a new mold and thus could be more complex. if it will be THIS complex remains to be seen ofcourse. tbh i like the studio series transformations that most figures have. it's a nice balance between the ROTF and current day transformations.

To be fair, if you watch this other guy's reviews, he has trouble with everything. He seems to lack a certain kinesthetic sense that you need in order to manipulate and pose toys. (Or he just spends no time familiarizing himself with figures before he goes on camera.)

Absolutely amazing. The G1-style arm placement in the transformation. The lack of faux windows. All that, and a clean truck rear with no weird kibble back there for the most part. And a trailer hitch.

Definitely will be the first movie figure I buy.
