Opened mine today  

 

Mine finally showed up today, and wow, he’s big.
I’m sure it’ll get easier with every transformation, but that first transformation was brutal.

 

YEAH!! Took me like 5 hours to transform him (no... but took me about an 45 mins plus watching 3 different reviewers   plus many painful fingers due to many sharp points on the panels)

 

Geesh! It is!

 

Ughhhh. I really can't decide if I want this guy...

 

l hate how awesome he is....and he hates that l hate his awesomeness!

 

Same here. I go back and forth on it so much. Im currently collecting the MPMs, etc but for whatever reason just not 100% sure on this guy.

 

Part of me is just thinking about going with the SS version. Too small to display with the old bots, sure, but so was the deluxe.

 

I got him for $90 + Free Shipping from TF-Direct.com... It's worth it!
Came within 12 days from China.

 

Woah I didn't realise he had light up eyes! Suppose I should have checked the manual rather than sticking to transformation vids lol. Where's the on/off switch?

 

He looks like he's doing an art dance routine lol  

 

The back half of the top of the head slides back and lifts off to expose the batteries and TINY white on/off switch.

 

He seems to be a great fit to pit up against WeiJang SS Prime! VERY happy with This figure, highly recommended for your class of '07 Decepticon shelf.

 

My copy finally arrived, really impressed with him; didn't take me too long to transform into a robot but I don't look forward to getting him back to vehicle mode!

 

Quick review of this guy. The transformation at first is really brutal, I struggled, especially putting him back into vehicle mode, but over time it definitely gets easier. I say it’s a step above ROTF leader prime but no where near as bad as something like Hot Fire, or El Cod (From What I’ve seen). The transformation is so-able, but fiddly. The actual figure is amazing, plastic quality is superb, light up eyes are bright and beautiful, poses make him looo so intimidating and powerful. I love him and he’s one of my favorite figures of all time. Despite that he’s got a few problems. First off no wrist swivel, not a big deal but a nitpick, he doesn’t really need it tho. There’s also parts forming, the ladder from the vehicle isn’t at all stored in the robot mode, or gun (I don’t really mind parts forming but the ladder having to be put aside bothers me). Also the gunmetal gray on him can actually be scratched off. I’ve transformed him a couple times and the tabs in that color have lost a bit of paint. Nothing noticeable from far away but it’s upsetting. Overall love him and he makes a great member to my movie 1 deceptions. I have 4/6 of them. Blackout is on the way, and I’m waiting for Black Mamba to release their brawl. My LT Prime is also on the way. Also I’m the picture, that is a custom Movie 3 Megatron made From ROTF megatron and a couple others. That Starscream is a custom Black Mamba Starscream meant to look like the ROTF version since I like that color scheme better.

I got him just before the new year I like him, I don't think he's going to be relegated to the back of a shelf for sometime - but I do kinda dread Transforming him to vehicle mode.

OK the good - the Black tires do not look as weird in person as they do in pictures, and the robotic arm on his back "does" fold flat on his back despite what some people seem to be saying - there is even a gap to accomodate the light on his roof - so I have no idea how people are getting that wrong.

Slight negatives.. like everyone else I'm scratching my head about what to do with the ladder I'm sure there is someplace It can be jammed on him - it might even be possible to situate it inside his body somehow or wrap it around the robot arm or gun - not figured it out yet though.

Perhaps someone can make an adaptor piece to allow the ladder to function as a gun stock or to fit on the gun in some way or other.

I like his hands - I didn't think I would but they actually work rather well - sort of Elite like.

Articulation is a bit peculiar in places like his wrists and hips. and he does lack a waist or torso swivel.
Size wise he's fine.

In conclusion - me makes me want to go buy a Desert Brawl to complement him. I'm glad I bought him, But I wouldn't rule out that someone might make a better (or an easier one) sometime too.
