I here this lines pretty popular so I plan on getting one soon.

From what I’ve seen the best looks like Starscream while the worst looks like Bumblebee.

I would put my top three as Grimlock, Ironhide, and Starscream. Grimlock is huge, very well painted, and accurate to a fault - a great value. Ironhide and Starscream are also beautifully done.

For the worst, I honestly like them all - I guess Wave 1 Stinger and Bumblebee? They're just a little more fidgety and frail than the rest have been thus far.

Best: Ironhide. Just feels really solid and worth the price. Can't put this figure down

Worst: Crowbar. Got it recently for like $11 but even that feel like i overpaid. lots of kibble and the dreads are kind of annoying

    Of those I have...

Best: voyager Optimus (nice intricate transformation, its one of my go-to fiddle figures)

Worst: deluxe Ratchet (the first one, its very sparsely painted and mostly looks like a neon junk heap. I should had waited for the second one)

(Still havent bothered with the Bumblebees but after seeing the movie I need a Beetlebee in my life. I think I'll just wait for the ThreeA one down the line)

Here's a mild take - I got a Beetlebee and he friggin' rules. Surprisingly detailed for a figure that size and he's a welcome part of my collection.

I liked Jazz and Ironhide a ton, the DOTM Ratchet looks way better than the first one, and Optimus is a decent mold but at this point you're better off holding out for the next one with better colors and the more accurate chest/back.

are you looking for accuracy or a good toy?

crowbar, brawl, blackout and rotf megatron all excel in both. starscream, ratchet and beetlebee are pretty middle of the road. stinger is a great toy, but is nothing like the movie except for alt mode and the headsculpt. ditto for shadow raider, although as lockdown the mold fails.

jetfire, the first optimus and that wwii bumblebee look like hot garbage.

I'd say best are: Grimlock, Ironhide, RotF Megatron and Blackout

Worst: Crankcase, maybe pre-roof rack mod Ratchet, and KSI Sentry? I've hard a lot of people say that the Sentry wears the blue better than Stinger wears the red.

Also, I honestly have no problem with Camaro Bee, aside from the fact that they're rereleasing it in his rusty form now.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve picked up 4 of these figures, my first non-masterpiece transformers since like 2013, pretty sure deluxe Prime Soundwave was my last one. So going from £13 deluxes to suddenly £22 smaller ones made me a bit sceptical.

Anyway. Blackouts great, but fragile and flimsy, but they all are imo so I guess that’s just how they are nowadays. But he’s my favourite so far. I think camaro bumblebee is actually pretty great, yeah he’s small and fidly, but he looks nice. Ratchet is a nice mould, but the painting is garbage, and the joints are very loose. Lockdown looks alright, but his articulation is limited, the paint is great though.

    Best: blackout
    Worst: Ratchet/lockdown (for paint/mould)

Out of the ones I have, Deluxe Jazz is easily my favorite. He has decent articulation, a simple (but not too simple) transformation, and has decent proportions. The only drawback is he is tiny for a deluxe but if you can look past that, he definitely is alot of fun.

As for the worst, I'd have to give that to deluxe VW BB. I like the robot mode, I like the vehicle mode but the transformation is a pain especially trying to get everything lined up. The extra weapon storage also could have used some rethinking. He has optional faces but the robot mode storage for the unused one is to hang it on the side window facing forward like he's carrying it around like a trophy. Also the unused arm tends to pop off the peg on his back. Then the unused extras also pop off easily in vehicle mode too.

Ratchet's lack of paint makes him stand out as a real bummer to me, plus mine has really loose joints. All the Bumblebees have been fiddly and not great.

Favorite is probably ROTF Megatron- he looks great, has great articulation and good handfeel. Starscream is up there too, with one of my favorite feeling transformations in the series.

I’m honestly trying to get one that does both, something that looks good and isn’t too fragile. (Probably aiming to get brawl or starscream)

My favorite is Grimlock, but the best one is probably Starscream.

The worst is the SS Camaro Bee, which is fine because it was 01 and the line has no where to go but up from there.

I only have 5 (all of which I really like) so I can’t say what the worst is, but here’s my two cents:

Best: Jazz (if you can get over the size), otherwise Ironhide since he’s fun to mess with and looks great in both modes

Worst: Bumblebee (01). While I don’t have this figure, I hear he is a nightmare to mess with and a pain to transform. I think clunker bumblebee might fix the QC issues, but I’d stay away from the first variant.
