that is so bought...i need that gt nemisis like yesterday.

 

So I just completed making the Nemesis "Black Ops" figure
Things to be noted:

-DONT tighten the screws like a maniac like I did... transformation will be a PAIN AND you'll put some heavy stress to joints... if you see its an articulated joint that you have to put a screw in, dont put a lot of pressure on the screw... I broke a joint on the knee because I tighten that joint up so hard.
-The molded plastic on the "sprews" is not really good... a lot of spills you will have to shave off using an exacto blade (see my video I show this)
-Pretty fun to build
-exactly like the Optimus sold pre-assembled
-2 types of screws in the bags, dont mix them up... the instruction labels them as "t" and "T" the lower case "t" means the small head screws, while the capital "T" means the short but Big headed flat head screws
-they give WAYYY too much screws for the figure... which is good... I lost a few under my table and didn't even bother looking for them lol

Oh wow, he looks great. I really like my Plissken for NP, but this is tempting.

 

wow, that was an awesome review on the build. i have watched your videos before and i never made the connection that you posted here on the board as well. keep up the good work and thanks for the tips on over tightening the joints. i am really excited to tackle this little kit.

Now THAT is what Ive been wanting. I also use GT Leaders, and Mft Ultra Magnus was just too big, so I got IF Ultra Magnus, and he's a little too small. ( looks cool with THS-02 Hybrid Optimus though)

 

Does anyone have any images of this Prime with Iron Factory's Sideswipe or Sunstreaker? Thanks in advance!

I still love mine, but he kinda clashes with some of the newer figures. Oh well, he's still my Autobot leader for now.

 

Even though no trailer, he's still my fav. so far.

 

He's showing his age, that's for sure. GT did some great things in the engineering of these two. I like to think that all of the moving pieces they have helped inspire some of what we're seeing today from other companies.

 

That pic above just reminded me I need to find a DX9 Megs for the Hybrid Convoy. /Sigh It never ends. Lol

 

You may want to hold out for the one coming from New Age toys.

 

Is he going to be this smaller size like DX9 Megs and Hybrid Optimus?

 

i think might be around the same size as this GT prime. it is hard to tell with these manufacturers and their measurements. they are almost never correct

 

Judging by the MS pic with their Sideswipe, it will be just a smidge shorter than GT but just barely.

 

He's around Legends size.

He was just unveiled earlier this month, but details on exact height were not disclosed. However, New Age was asked on their Weibo page if their Megatron was in proportion to DX9's Legends Optimus and they said that it was, so he should be around DX9 Megatron's height.
