I'll probably get this reissue. My only Soundwave was the Classics 1.0 reissue and while it's not a bad set getting Ravage and Laserbeak, I never liked the look of the double size tape door. Don't care if the hinges are different, if it has the single door I'm in!
Actually, the US got both door styles. The SDCC version had the single door, although the photo on the back showed the double. The 2007 TRU commemorative edition in the classics packaging had the double door.
$40 is what it SHOULD be per inflation. $50 is my expectation from a practical standpoint. $60 is my cynical mind kicking in with regards to the absurd pricing for a trailer-less Optimus at $50.
I remember that. Was one of the reasons I first started working at Toysrus. I even sold one to a desperate customer and he gave me and my manager an evaluation letter.
I want one and would totally buy one if he was $20. More then that and I don't see the point for me to get one.
Sadly, Outback was shortpacked; In a case of 8, the breakdown was 3 Bumblebee, 2 Swerve, 2 Tailgate, 1 Outback. And because of this, fu**ing scalpers are grabbing them and asking 3 times the price. As for Devastator, I saw him twice in stores, so I guess it depends on distribution.
I believe this is the first one of these that I don\'t already own from when I was a kid. I\'ll be tempted, but I\'m not going to overpay what I think it\'s reasonably worth.
