After the announced a reissue of Soundwave, I went completely crazy and obsessed.

I was about to buy one literally today before I saw this. Impeccable timing.

 

I'm more of a Soundwave hoarder.

 

One can never have enough Soundwave.

 

G1 upgraded? I picked up the Squeezeplay Titanmaster at the weekend and after watching Thew's Top 10 of 2018, I tried it on the G1 body.

It does rest reasonably on it and looks well I think...

 

I haven’t displayed this guy in a while. Dusty, but still functional.

 

That G1 Soundwave has me pumped. Now I don't have to restore the floppy one I have.

 

Posted this on wanted thread, but since everyone here loves g1, i'll post it here too. Looking for some complete figures of season 1 and two cast. Lmk

 

They're reissuing Soundwave?!?? When? I gotta get him.

 

I believe he's one of those Walmart Exclusives. Price and release are to be confirmed.

 

I hope he's cheap, but odds are against it. A G1 Soundwave is one of my grails.

 

Most of us assume $50 to $70. But what am I saying? In Canada, it could be a lot more.

But here's what we know so far.

When is reissue primes release? I'm guessing Soundwave is gonna get released same time.

 

That's extremely likely.

 

Somehow I feel Carbots are rarely going to be reissued due to licensing.

 

I put together a list of all the G1 stuff I am going to have in my collection. Then unfortunately, due to multiple factors that's probably it for my collection.

 

Opened up the bag my original figures are kept in. These are just few a of them and they are in the state I left them in back when I was a kid in the 80s though the dust is from the accumulated years of neglect. I remember I got Blitzwing for my birthday in either 84 or 85. I remember spying beforehand and finding him in the box hidden away in my parents wardrobe. I knew he was a triple changer and afterwards when I asked my mum if she had gotten me any Transformers for my birthday she said she might have got some. I was worried that she didn't know what a triple changer was and that she might have thought there were 3 robots in the one box instead of it being 1 robot that changes into 3 things. I wanted more than 1 for my birthday so, worried about my mums ability to understand Transformers I pestered her until she gave in and showed me what she had got me which was about 4 different transformers including Hound (pictured) and Prowl. I didn't know it then but she had also got me Optimus Prime. Up to this point I only had Soundwave. Incredible times. Great fun and great memories.

Great find! Now you have to clean them up and put some reprolabels on them and restore their full beauty
