Wait, so you've seen the litho? Can you post pics?

And to which version are you referring regarding the book and figure?

I will probably get the HD-DVD version at BestBuy so I can get the exclusives there (probably the only place you will be able to get the exclusives with the HD-DVD, maybe CC too) and I will get the regular DVD version at Walmart and probably Target too (and give the Walmart movie disk to my brother in law and keep the bonus disc-He could care less). I would not count out the possibility of the Walmart disk being the 2 disc version. I bought the Jungle book two pack (with the CD) at Walmart this week and I thought it was the single disc version but it was actually the two disc version (the single disc version was $14 and the two disc version was $20 with or without the bonus CD).

Those pics of the transforming case have turned me off to it. I am gonna get the Walmart one with the prequel. I am sure the CC exclusive content will end up on Youtube at some point.

Circuit City- Online content cards just sounds dumb. I'm going to doubt it's anything amazing, and for that matter, something we won't be able to see later anyway.

Target- that transforming case is interesting from a collectible point of view. It's different, anyway. The "Target Exclusive comic book with ROBO-VISION decoder to unlock cool content at TARGET.COM/TRANSFORMERS" sounds exactly like what they were handing out at theaters opening night. I have 5 of those, and honestly, it was fairly lame.

Walmart- for the first time in a long time had my money with a exclusive bonus disc with the narrated comic content; but finding out the set only comes with single disc edition of the movie bummed me out.

Best Buy- I stopped collecting figures, so I don't need the exclusive toys. I don't have HD. Oh wells.

I think I will hit up both Target and Walmart. I have no problem buying this movie twice in one day.

I'm not really impressed with any of the exclusives (really don't like the Target transforming case though), and the prices at most places are pretty close, so just going to pick it up at either Best Buy or Walmart on the 16th.

Best Buy's website has the 2-Disc DVD + exclusive Robot Heroes as coming out on November 4th (LINK)

From what I could find on the various websites (not including shipping/taxes)...

    - Best Buy - $22.99 (2-Disc Set), $29.99 ("Gift Set" w/2-Disc DVD and exclusive figures)
    - Circuit City - $29.99 (2-Disc Set)
    - Wal-Mart - $22.87 (2-Disc Set), $19.99 (Exclusive two-pack)
    - Target - $22.99 (2-Disc Set) - This is in their "DVDs brought to you by Amazon.com section, though, so no mention of the store exclusive

^ Awesome stuff! And there's a 32 page book? No fair.

I hate how they made all these different versions to try and make you buy multiple copies. Especially walmart making the original version come with an extra special disc which makes you have to buy another special edition copy with 2-discs. For now I think the Best Buy one looks the best. Those figures are really cool!

The BB figures are an extra 7 bucks on the price?
Ill just go to my local Wal Mart and buy the regular 2 disk SE then. No double dip cash wasting for me. And since my DVD player is 1080p upscale, the HD disks don't matter too much either.

I just wanna know about BB Metal Megs though...

OK... I think I finally figured what I'll likely do:

    - Get me the 2-disc version, with comic and transforming DVD case for myself.
    - Tell my sister she should buy her copy on Best Buy. Since she doesn't collect Transformers, she can give me the Robot Heroes exclusives.

so just to clarify, all of these are different than the HD dvd correct? From what I have seen, the HD dvd does not include any special things... does it have the Cullen voiceover thing?

My sister wants to give Target her business (she said I could have the comic) and I'm not bothering with the Animated Prequel if I have to get the single-disc version, so I'm going with Best Buy and the Robot Heroes.

I hope we'll find out something about Metallic Megatron and Ratchet soon. Like whether or not they're an additional cost with purchase of DVD. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to afford the DVD or Megatron, not both.

This is an entirely new comic featuring Wreckage. IDW said so.

Looks like I'm getting the wally's prequel, bb for robot heroes and target for the comic. Then giving the wallys regular dvd to my nephew for his bday..still leaves me with 2 copies, but oh well.
