Snagged the last Magnus, seemed like the last of the reported ones there since it was just he and some pegs of Micromasters and Weaponmasters left.

It was a little frustrating, since I dropped by earlier after Randym2002 first posted and the staff I asked looked up both DPCIs and told me nothing was in stock. I don’t tend to blame staff when they’re in the middle of a reset however, which it seems like they are.

Thanks to Randy and madhatprime, still happy to get Mags, he was the highlight of the two leaders for me, and now I only need Shocks to finish off!

 

Which DPCI are people using? Just wanna make sure I’m looking up using the correct DPCI number and not from a previous set.

Note that I only scored due to boardmember sighting. At this point it seems Brickseek’s tracking is blocked and Target staff won’t always detect it as “in stock” if numbers are limited. Polite in-person or phone checking is recommended.

It also appears to be missing in my previous pic taken at the store, so I don't think I misplaced it. Now I have to find another Shockwave to exchange for this one.

Hi everyone! No sighting from me today. I wanted to say that I moved to Los Angeles the other day (I just thought that LA needed more people) and am excited to keep collecting around here!

...and after reading the thread, I'm tempted to start hunting for some WFC Leaders.

Fontana North has the Leaders and Voyagers. I asked Brandon in electronics who passed the buck to Natalie,who found them in the back for me.

I will say it was hard a pill to swallow for Shockwave,I would of been happy if he was just a standard Voyager release.

 

According to the north Culver City Target, they had the Siege leaders in on the 29th and sold them all on the 30th.

 

Got the Siege Leaders today in Santa Maria. They pulled them from the back (additionally, they had 3 more cases of them in the back).

 

Just picked up the last Magnus at Mountain View Target.. No Shockwave.

They have a full case of the 5 and 8 pack wave 1 BotBots, I left them for now til I sort out the optimum buying strategy across singles, 5 and 8 packs since there’s a lot of duplications...

 

Are people finding the Voyagers AND the Leaders, or just the Leaders (when they find them at all)?

 

leaders for sure, i saw a prime and megs at same place..

 

Which Target in San Jose? Went to Landess (Milpitas), McKee/Capitol Ave and First st (off 237) and I didn’t see any...

Picked up two leaders at Target Westwood near UCLA. It was a colossal pain in the ass. After calling electronics and having it confirmed that they had 4, I arrived to find the same electronics guy saying they showed 0 on the floor and 0 in back. After a long back and forth between customer service (who insisted that they don't back stock toys and that what's on the floor is all they have) and electronics, plus the stockroom guy, it turned out they were sitting in receiving, having been sent from the back room by the stock guy but not received by the toy person.

So if you go to a Target and they say they don't have any, ask them to double-check receiving. They may well be there.

 

Thanks for the recommendation. Frank & Son was really cool. We have nothing like that in Chicago (that I know of) outside of cons. My wife enjoyed it as well. We did get mildly uncomfortable when we realized we couldn't find a bathroom. I saw a lot of big items I wish I could've taken back with me. Unfortunately, I don't have the cash or luggage space.

Torrance Burlington had Titans Return Trypticon for $60, mine now!

Torrance Walmart had the Encore Minibots for $8 each, they can keep 'em at that price. Both gold- and silver-face Bumblebees were present.

Torrance Target had Skytread, no discount.

Hawthorne Target had the Bumblebee Leader Soundwave for $25, 2 of those, I struggled but passed.

Inglewood Walgreens had Wreck-Gar for $18, I bought.

Culver City South (aka Fox Hills Mall) Target had wave 1 Botbots 5-packs @ $10, I took home the Toilet Troop set with Waddlepop.

You did quite a trek today! Did you get to the Target on jefferson or the one on la cienega?

 

I hit the La Cienega one, there was nothing of note to report whatsoever. I didn't hit the one on Jefferson as I hit that store a few days ago and they had nothing of note either, although that may have changed since.

I also hit the DD's and Burlington in Hawthorne, both were duds.
