I have mine facing POTP Rodimus, but I agree he is just a little too big. As a toy though, I really like him and wish that's how the Hasbro one was released only at the voyager size.

 

Ditto. They look great together on my " Transformers I play with shelf" in the living room. So far DX9 Tyrant is my "masterpiece" but Big Cannon is Big Fun. With the reduced price at BBTS I can't wait for my second one to arrive so I can add some paint details.

I think it was in here, someone was able to fit one of the carbot KFC hands to him I think it was. I need to look into it too now that I have my O&P Galvatron in hand (and love it!).

 

I really hope O&P is still in operation. Some of the better figures in my collection and they were fantastic for the price. Excellent, even.

 

I'm hoping O&P are still alive as well. Was very impressed with Big Cannon & Big Spring. Would love to have more of their product.

I modded a set of stock MP-11 seeker hands to fit onto him:
Open and Play Galvatron

The issue with changing the hands up is to find a set that will still fit into the forearm cavities cleanly for transformation. The seeker hands are just barely able to do it, so I'm pretty certain anything bigger than these would not work. Which is a bummer, because he could definitely still use some bigger (and better articulated) hands.

 

His hands are actually quite large / normal against other MPs. The issue is where in most photos they are closed and it makes them look small relative to his rather large forearms.

He is one of those figures once you get in-hand, especially given his low cost, quickly becomes a favourite.

Really great fun to play with, transform and pose.

 

Still look smaller than their big spring hand...upgrade hand will be good.

Man, I dug out the TR Galvatron the other night because I was cleaning out the box I had extra figures in, and geez... He couldn't even hold a candle to this guy if he tried. I get what Hasbro was trying to do, I really do, but this OSKO (and that's really what it is, more or less) blows it out of the water.

Please, please, please O&P stay open. You're the one we need, not the one we deserve.

They did a great job improving what most people disliked about the voyager (headmaster gimmick, jet mode, etc). They certainly inserted themselves onto my toy radar with this release. Unfortunate they haven't been active since. I'm not really an MP scale collector, but would buy more figures like this if the price was right. Just a fun toy all around.

 

Just received my O & P Galvatron and for under $40 shipped, I've got no complaints. He's going right on my MP shelf.
