I'm glad they utilized the Seeker's flying ability to the fullest here. The fight scenes in this film are wonderfully choreographed.
I liked the voice David Sobolov chose for Blitzwing here. That 3rd trailer a while back had him sound a bit deeper which wasnt bad, but I prefer the changes to the final cut shown. Sounds a bit like John DiMaggio, who I love! Maybe that's why I like it so much lol
I've liked some of the score I hear in the clips. The score hear has some Steve Jablonsky vibes while being its own thing. Sounds very Transformers Primey too.
Another good instance of good camera work and choreography. I like how fluid the camera follows the fighting rather than jump cuts every second.
Agreed. Furthermore, and this goes for the final battle as well, but I like how Bumblebee doesn't just God mode him. He's not a bad fighter at all, but Bee has to use his smaller size and agility over brute force, whereas Blitzwing can just swing his arms like wrecking balls and knock him around. When Bee was hacking away at Blitzwing and only managed to wreck his jetpack, in a Bay movie he would've sliced Blitzwing to ribbons effortlessly. Here Bumblebee can barely keep up with him even going all out, and ultimately only wins because he's clever and not because he's strong.
Totally. Bee isn't trying to rip Blitz apart with his bare hands but rather using his weight, agility, and tools around him. Such as scrap steel, blade, and eventually Blitz's own rockets. Blitz, on the other hand, and as you said, can use his weight and height advantage but he can also fly, easily overpowering Bee. It was very well thought out to showcase how dynamic fights could be in future movies.
This lmfao. Bay bumblebee would've done some ninja roundhouse kick to Blitz's head and tackled him and ripped off his head with little effort.
For the first time a fight with Bee had some tension. You get to feel that Bee has to use all his skills and wits to outsmart Blitzwing
Yeah, great fight, and Blitzwing's design is a classic. Very happy they established that it's the average Seeker body type too, really want to see them reuse it for future movies. Would be nice to get Starscream as a F-15.
