What's with everyone wanting ab crunch? It's not a Marvel Legends. Ab crunches on TF always look terrible to me. Like it broke in half.

 

The autobot logo indent better be the right size for a reprolabels standard size or they should just make it flat

 

One of the rubs from "the big sheet" should fit.

 

Shame that they decided to rush out before CNY.

I know it doesnt take a million years but, seems like too quick a turn around from the "improvements" phase.

 

Seems like they are trying to match the release time frame of MS-01.

 

Both of these guys want to get it out before Takara.

That was part of my questioning, no trailer but compatible with MP10's  

 

It's such a nice figure. The knee leg-twist is a bit odd though, and if not posed correctly will make Optimus look like he has wimpy knees, that is to say, knees that are slightly inclined inward. Not a deal-breaker.

-Poseability is still a question mark for this figure. MP-44 and Magic Square both feature generous articulation and poseability, but we haven't seen the same poses attempted with the TE Prime, at least not yet.

-That head... Is really the weakest part of the figure by far. Makes Optimus look Chinese. If not addressed by the factory, will require a new sculpt; so be it.

-Lastly, the red on the figure is bare plastic, and I think this is what contributes to making it look cheaper than the others. Maybe at some point TE will consider offering a revised version, if only to get the most out of the tooling. It realy does have the best potential of the new Prime figures, and can achieve that status with a bit of tweaking, but I think it's those little missing things that also hurt it the most.

 

It's another point of articulation that can be used for more natural looking poses. I don't use them often but I appreciate when they're available.

 

He's got good range of motion on the head.butterfly joints on the shoulders with 90 degree movement side to side...Elbows are double jointed....waist swivel no ab crunch...Upper knee swivel....He can do the front splits and the side splits and the knees bend way more than 90 degrees.
The red plastic is cause its still a prototype...We dont know whether its gonna be fully painted though
