Technically, this is literally the entire Japanese continuity.

I think Paramount will certainly see a victory in Bee's critical reception. You best believe they have Knight on the phone trying to land that contract for a sequel/follow-up (I could see them giving him a full Transformers film).

Bee has a shot at hitting TLK's domestic total, which I'm positive Paramount would view as a success.

I look at it this way: I'm grateful to have even had the experience and it was a good time, but if it fails, we had our chance and it's out of our control. At least we got one good one, we could've gone this entire time and they all could've been bombs.

I'd rather have something, rather than nothing, we finally got that something. We'll ride out on a high note if nothing else.

After looking at today's numbers, I'm more than convinced BB will end up around 350-400. There is no way China will pull 300 million to BB. As the american audience, I think they too are exhausted of Bayformers or giant robots fighting in general. Look how Pacific Rim 2 did there.

Ouch just under 160 million worldwide total for a 130 million movie. It might make it to 300-350 but I cant see it getting to 400 at this rate if it does it will be a huge struggle.

*sigh* People must come to terms with the fact that we're not the target audience, anymore. Aquaman is beating us, as well as the rest of the competition out there, right now. It happens, it's happening, it's something we just have to deal with. Period.

We got a good movie out of it, we had a chance to laugh and cry and we've gotten 6 films when most can't even get one or past one.

Disappointing, sure, but better than what we could've gotten.

Not an apples to apples comparison.

Sounds like good news for the Bee film, I hope people keep turning out to see it, but fatigue and loss of theatre space as new releases take them over may become a real problem soon.

No one here cares about Aquaman in comparison. It's more about Bee making a profit to let Paramount see that it was a worthwhile venture. Aquaman will win the Holidays, but this new little pick up on Bee might mean good things for sequels and that Prime and Cybertron movie.

Yup, I just want to see this make enough for a small profit and I'll be happy.

The steady numbers make it a possibility right now.

Was eating pizza with my wife, and a small family in the booth behind us was eating lunch before a movie. The waiter asked what they were going to see and the kids said “Bumblebee!”

    Go get em little bug!

And this doesn’t factor in Blueray sales or the weeks still to come.
