Yes, I heard of them. I though all 4 Dinocassettes were KOed. Do you know of any other Takara G1?

When was that? That is nice. There seems to be quite a few old stocks in Spain. What I heard was Micromaster.

Got the Wal-Mart reissue Devastator, an original Star Saber, and a few more pieces for my original Overlord. As you can see, Overlord is still missing quite a few things. I think Star Saber is only missing his sword. I was very happy to be able to add them to the collection!

Your're right, I think it was all four.

The FB post about the case find was last week. He was selling each combiner limb for only £30 which is a pretty good price. Price was so good that some people wanted to buy his entire stock, I'm guessing to resell.

Is Encore release of G1 shelfwarmer?

By the way, is it me or the ebay can be inconsistent with its discount in that sometimes it does not work? and the costumer service is not very efficient in that a lot of the time they can not grab the issues?

It's funny, really. I just happened to be browsing through Toy Discussion after viewing the MP Speculation Thread, saw this thread, opened up the pages to "Terrorcon Week", and saw UndertakerPrime's post about the cels. Chalk it up to eerie coincidence, as I never really posted in here (or anywhere much...) especially since I don't happen to possess a full 84-90 collection anymore, and haven't for years (though I kept a few bots and cons as well as some childhood favorites), so I didn't have any reason to drop in the thread other than "well, I'm here, may as well look around". One thing led to another and now the cels have a happy new home and an owner that I know will appreciate them rather than flip them, so I'm very glad I happened by that day.

If karma is good, maybe this will lead down the path to show-accurate Masterpiece Terrorcons, either official or 3rd party. At least, that's what I'm hoping for. ;)

Galvatron still holds up beautifully. Great mold with nice articulation for the time. Love that it take a 9V(!) battery. My three year old girl loves the blaster mode and the three separate sound settings. A few pics:

Yes all 4 dino cassettes were KOd.
They have also KOd Browning, the Japanese headmasters and Galaxy Shuttle... all of which I have.

Got some good G1 goodness in the mail today. Yeah some are incomplete and have some loose joints but that can be fixed. I like them regardless!

Oh, which Browning? The Takara version?

How to differentiate especially for the Japanese Headmasters?

    Ebay:
I have the KO Dinocassettes, Galaxy Shuttle, Headmasters and Browning(s) too!

I bought the Brownings at separate times, but have both the Red and Blue variants... at the time, the red one came with yellow weapons but the blue came with chrome. Luckily they come with two guns, so they share the chrome set for display :)

On a related note, I’m still shocked that the decent combiner KOs haven’t released Battle Gaia and Guard City versions yet ... or G2 Defensor and Menasor for that matter!!

Those are the last two big purchases from Japanese G1 that I don’t want to jump on since I figure a KO will come eventually ...

At this point, I still need one more Firecon, one more Sparkbot, the 3 Godmaster recolors, and some Micromasters...

A lot of my Japanese collection includes KOs and customs, and for me that’s fine for the time being :)

The same guy was behind the Dino cassettes, Browning, the headmasters and Galaxy Shuttle. I beleive in all cases he removed the Takara date stamps, to make it obvious they were reproductions (high quality I might add).

I know there's a thread in the 3rd party forum for the KO Galaxy Shuttle, there might be threads for the others as well.
