Finally, have the money to buy this fella. I'm probably going to get B than A. I'd kill for the smug, "yeeeessss" face. But flame effects, paint job, and a better paint job are better than just paying extra for a semi-different paint job and an alternate head.

Hey guys, quick favor: Could someone who owns both Red Dragon and GT Gorilla take a picture of them together so I could see how they scale? There are plenty for PE's megs and Gorilla but I couldn't find any for red dragon!

I'm waiting for this figure to come in from a trade. Any idea how he scales with PotP Optimal Optimus?

I don’t have a comparison on hand, but here he is with two of mmc’s figures which are roughly voyager. He’s got a good bit more mass than potp optimal Optimus

Just picked up the SGC edition of Red Dragon for $65. Very happy with it. I know some people prefer the more toy accurate Megatron's, but I prefer this take.

    I got number 269 of 300.

Is the difference between 'A'/SGC and 'B' the more transparent and somewhat different colors on the wings on the 'A' version?

i think a has multicolored wings whereas b has orange wings (going off memory, my a wings go from yellow at the tip to orange to red, all translucent), b comes with flame effects a didnt, a comes with extra faces b didnt, b has modified wings (not entirely sure in what manner), a has a sgc convention stamp and a laser engraving for number out of 300

Posting to give this guy some love. I never cared for Transmetal 2 Megatron, so the fact this guy isn't accurate doesn't bother me in the least.

    Happy I finally bought it!

Bumping a VERY old thread with a simple request. Can anyone confirm the convention exclusive version MB-03A has its ID number laser etched somewhere on the figure? If so, could they post a pic and description where please?

    Thanks in advance, MJC

I don't have mine anymore, but if I recall correctly the etched number was on one of the knees (on the side)

Yep, you're correct @Fenrys . Although I should of just taken the time to read through this thread for clarification. The ever-reliable @daimchoc posted some pics around the time it was released clearly showing laser-etched serial numbers on inner leg. but thanks for the response anyway.
