Where can I preorder optimus? I can't seem to find them anywhere on the more common online stores that I used to frequent.

I actually completely forgot this was a thing. It was kind of fitting for me to find out this line is still progressing too, immediately just as I had finished rewatching the first season of prime after 2 and half years of abscense from anything tfp related. I actually feel giddy with excitement and anticipation for this line to expand.

    Show Z store, Robotoybase.

Apologies. Robot Kingdom. I always get those two mixed up.

The bitching hissyfit people have over non-transforming figures always make me laugh. Keep em coming. The two best figures in my entire collection dont transform and no one can change my mind about that.

I POed mine from Robot Kingdom. I've never bought from them before, but I recently read on the forum their shipping costs are brutal. How bad should I expect my wallet to get ravaged?

I’d advice you to go with ShowZ, they have free shipping. Robot Kingdom is a treasure trove for small and hard to find figures, but the Hong Kong shipping makes it just not worth it for anything heavy.

For example, an IF carbot to Sweden, which weighs about as much as a well-fed butterfly, is 17 dollars.

My issue (now) is how people go nuts when somebody drops a comment that isnt praising the product. The same old tiring "then why are you here ?" and "if you dont like it, dont buy it" comments. So annoying. Obviously, im not going to buy it. And why am I here ? Because admin didnt place a "only supporters of this product may post here" requirement on this thread or any thread. Not everybody is going to like a product, and they are free to speak their mind as well. I apologized to the dude who got offended because I had the audacity to guess his age group based on the release dates of TFPrime. (Horrors) But im not going to apologize for giving an opinion about a figure thats not positive. Trust me you dont want to see this site start infringing on your 1st amendment rights. Then it becomes seibertron. Nuff said...

People need to stop having an expectation of this on private platforms. The only forum your 1A rights matter in is the public one. There is no 1A protections in a privately owned and operated platform.

I think the reason your comments rubbed people the wrong way was the implication "I don't like it, therefor it shouldn't exist", rather than "I don't like it, therefor I won't buy it".

I actually wish they hadn't upgraded him. I personally hate the Fattimus Prime design aka Optimus Prime 2.0. I get that they were trying to beef him up but it seemed to make him so immobile. It doesn't help that Cullen's voice acting became even more wooden during this time (it was probably down to poor voice direction, season 3 was supposedly rushed).

But I love pretty much every other Prime design.

You must live in a very well articulated house if this is what your bricks look like.

To an extent I agree with you. But keep in mind that admin isnt barring comments that are unfavorable about any particular product. Its just random posters who seem to think only supportive comments should be posted. They criticize people for criticizing. They want yin but no yang. That was my point. If you want to know more about how I feel about 1st amendment rights or other fan sites feel free to hit me up on a PM.

I can understand your perspective. But wouldnt you agree that non-transforming transformers are the elephant in the room amongst hardcore transformer fandom ? For example, most fans of transformable robots frown upon fake parts being used as "cheating". With that being said, wouldnt eliminating transformation all together in the name of screen accuracy be the ultimate form of cheating ? Also, I never said that it shouldn't exist. I just implied that it was a dumb idea in my opinion. Lots of dumb ideas exist because not everyone thinks they are dumb. But thats not going to stop people from calling them dumb either. Every possible topic on this site has its own set of politics.

Cheating may be less desirable, but it's not a bad thing. Some people prefer the journey, others the destination.

I actually don't feel that way at all, but I'm nowhere near Transformers' intended demographic. I'm into TF for hot giant space robots and giant space robot soap opera hijinks, not the toys themselves. I don't have much interest in vehicles (I'm not that particular flavor of deviant), and even as a kid, I didn't like transforming as a toy gimmick.

Does this site have a poll function? Now I'm really curious what percentage of the user base cares about transformation ability over aesthetics, and vise versa.

That's not a reason to be here. Your reason for being here is that nobody is stopping you but what is your actual reason for wanting to be in a thread for a toy you don't like and aren't going to buy? All you're doing is trying to rain on people's parade by telling them this thing they like sucks. Are you trying to convince us not to buy it? Looking for validation of your opinion? Trying to convince yourself that you really don't want to buy it? Seriously, if you see no merit whatsoever in this figure, what possible motivation could you have to read this thread and get into arguments?

Someone has a ridiculously tenuous grasp on the Bill of Rights. Here's a hint: the 1st amendment starts off "Congress shall make no law..." Does Congress own and/or administer this site?
