She looks like Transformers Mercy with those wings and black cat D.va cats ears from Overwatch.

 

So it looks they took a few liberties with the design. I don't mind the panels too much, they kind of look like armour. Kinda cool. It's better than her having massive back kibble.



Elita One is second favourite TF, so of course I will get her.

I wonder if this mould will get retooled into Arcee.

 

I want Lyzack and Leozack. I don't even care about Leokaiser, I just want the siblings.

 

Seeing it side-by-side, XTB's figure is too thin. Elita-1 has a little more stock on her frame.

 

Prime wasn't there to feed her, so she got thinner.

I'll buy one even if it turns out bad. The only company to attempt her thus far is MMC with their Azalea mold and while I appreciate the sentiment, the POTP Elita looks like she punched out Panty & Stocking and stole their boots. I'd like something that at least KINDA looks like the Elita from the show.

Please don't remind me of POTP Elita. She gives me nightmares. The MMC Azalea retool is neat but impossible to get for a reasonable price these days, and is more IDW than G1 anyway. But yeah, I figure X-Transbots' "bad" these days isn't all that bad, so I might buy her either way.

Jokes aside, I'm just now really looking at this figure. What's that behind her legs? Is that some kind of long skirt-like dealie, a stand, or some other unrelated thing? I actually don't mind it. Kinda looks like Crosshair's trench coat.

 

Shell bits for skirt armour, I think. In the front-facing picture, there's something pink in the background that isn't part of Elita, so I'm not sure what that is. Would have to hunt down photos from other angles to see (I'm pretty sure they exist but I'm lazy).

 

I WILL be picking up this figure. I have both third party elitas (mastermind and iron factory) i never got the official POTP one because I did not like how Elita looked. maybe if I like find her real cheap in the future at ross or marshalls or something lol.

 

I'd love to see all of the G1 female Autobots made at some point.

In that side by side this looks more like an MMC CHUG Azalea knock-off than the character in the source image next to it. Very unlike 598 that usually nails the source design. In fact, almost none of it looks like the source except the vague shape of the head.

 

Isn't Elita-1 about the same height as prime? Any idea how tall she is?

 

Elita One wasn't included in the Sunbow scale charts.



I found a screenshot. But the scale for the cartoon wasn't always consistent. Personally I'd want her to be a little shorter than Prime- around MP Ironhide's height.

 

She was the same height as the other fembots. I’d say shorter than Ironhide but taller than Jazz.

 

Ironhide's height seems good. The perspective is awful but she seems to be about shoulder-height with Prime (i.e. the top of her head comes up to the top of his shoulders).

ONE DAY, I SHALL HAVE MY OPTIMUS AND ELITA TEAM-UP (outside of Iron Factory toys), AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS!

 

iBot confirmed Fembots and not Arcee so I think like the Junkions and what we have seen with the Skids mold they will milk everything out of it with whatever modifications if it performs well.
