you don't need an adapter for that.
    from individual vehicle modes:
    1. detach weapons.
    2. turn arms around.
    3. flip out combiner slot.
    4. open tank roof.
    5. unpeg and raise combiner peg.
    6. connect vehicles together.
    7. attach weapons.
you can also add some steps to reinforce the combiner slot.

He's a wonderful update. Impressive how the alt modes are roughly the same size,

The figure was the surprise of the wave for me. Such an awesome figure.

Sure the separate alt modes are kinda wonky but they’re a perfect throwback to the original AND the bot mode is just perfect. Sooooo much personality with awesome pose ability.

Finally got my Flywheels, he is just impressive! Reminds me the old glory days of Henkei.

Looks like there were some QC with first units but mine is perfect, thanks Primus !

The figure is solid which makes me wonder about Battletrap who is a mess. Flywheels is a solid Duocon but Battletrap is a puzzleformers.

Would love to see a new Battletrap version, not the first time something like this happens, but looks like there aren't many chances.

This figure is ok, but isn't worth $20+

I gotta be honest, while a fun toy, I think battletrap wins it. What skytread has in a more solid robot mode, battletrap exceeds that value with 2 individual robot modes that make glorious goons in their own right. And since they essentially have the same MSRP, BT has that extra play value.

Weird how people can such varying opinions haha. After handling skytread, going back to battletrap made me wonder why I liked battletrap so much back when I had originally gotten him (it’s the legs and proportions that bug me now).

Not saying your wrong at all. I’m just glad there’s two different figures that provide different things. It’s really cool that different aspects can appeal more to different people, because they are both cool figures.

How are you defining value? When I compare siege figures to PotP deluxes, I definitely see where the extra costs were used. The plastic is better, the figures are less hollow, the joints are better, and the paint is better.

I’ll gladly pay a couple bucks more for a better product, especially if there’s a chance that the increase in price is due to the employees who are making these things getting paid better.

You'd think with the increased price, he'd at least have wrist swivels...

This figure is better than battletrap and the lack of random little bots is the reason why. Out of wave 1 deluxes he is my 2nd favorite. Sideswipe is #1.

My thoughts on W1 as well. This really was the surprise the wave for me.

Hasbro may be running short on replacements. I sent mine in after filing a claim with support, and it took a month to get another figure. They forgot to process my replacement and I had to contact them to get them to send it. That figure ended up being a MP YOTG Soundwave. So either they made up for taking so long to send it, or they are out of replacement figures.
I see them popping up at stores again, but I am a little weary of buying another for sake of the same issue.

I finally got Skytread, and he has no qc issues, thank goodness. I'm still gonna do the fix for his tank mode, since that is still a problem, but that's more an engineering problem than a qc one.

    Love this line!

Yeah ive decided i hate this toy. This is literally the first time ive gotten QC so bad it made the unusable. This was my first toy from the siege line i hope my next experience is better.

Has anyone tried heating the glued parts and slowly prying them apart? That's what I usually do when I have a problem with a glued piece. Either that or using rubbing alcohol over the glued area.
