I'm shocked you said this? When this version of Unicron was mentioned a few months back, I mentioned it was time to retire this mold and come with a new design/mold. After that it was all down hill with threats and online bullying galore!
Which that shit doesn't bother me. I do agree, this mold needs to go bye-bye and Takara/Hasbro needs to get off their lazy ass and come up with something new! Come on, they can come up with the Titan BS figures, I know they can do Unicron and all his glory!

 

Nice to see a green energy efficient ,  more economical on the milage planet gobbler in this day and age .

 

I always thought this mold was kind of terrible, clear back to Armada. The proportions always reminded me of a kid in football pads, and the alt mode was so terrible I can’t even count it as one.

The new, better sculpted smaller head on the 2010 version helped the proportions, but still has stumpy limbs.

Cybertron Primus pulled off the whole planet former thing much, much better.

All that said, the deco on this version is pretty cool and unique and somehow makes the mold work better for me then it ever has.

It makes no fucking sense that I want this thing but I do.

 

Primus benefited from the experience of making Unicron. I still want the BW Unicron mold that was never released, though.

 

This guy gets it. He may be a genocidal,civilization-destroying monster, but man is he environmentally friendly. Look at all the renewable resources he'll leave behind as he devours Cybertron! I,for one,was impressed at his recycling when he used a fake outer shell to disguise himself as one of Cybertron's moons in Armada.

 

I cant wait for this guy bring him on !

 

I want this, but I want MP-44 more so have to pass on it to save money

That\'s a very nice box. Almost has a look of Masterpiece series to it. Maybe even the font looks like Gundam Mastergrade.

 

Sweet deco, but there's no way I could ever afford it.
