Why argue about price when you got the thing you're comparing him to on sale? If you want to pay $30 for this then wait, but don't hold that against the figure while comparing it to a figure of the same pricepoint.
He's got legpacks hehe :p  Still gonna get him and enjoy him though.
What's the point of showing inaccurate concept art? The whole point of studio series is we're FINALLY getting ACCURATE figures. If it's not to your liking with slightly digitigrade legs, then you didn't like the movie design to begin with and then you shouldn't bother with this figure.

I am whelmed. The skinny legs are the deal-breaker. That on top of my never having liked his DOTM design, I won’t be getting him. I’ve got to prioritize other SS figures first.

Not sure what point you're trying to make towards me is. I really like the SS Leader. I'm going to buy it.

Rather I was pointing out how the entire DotM line, the one line that was made as the Great Recession recovery bit, was ACTUALLY the cost cutting line and their Voyager Megatron, like their Voyager Optimus Prime, were very, very sad.

Well, my mistake then. Usually this is not the case when people in the fandom claim that Hasbro is cutting costs. Which is to say, they still think they are, not that they did at one point for legitimate financial reasons.

Dropkick and Crankcase say hi :p

To an extent all TLK repaints count too but they’re good enough for SS imo

Seems like Megatron just can’t escape the curse of hollow parts. Hollow truck or hollow body, pick your poison

since he'll live in robot mode, hollow truck. I really think the hollow cab won't be much of a bother in person.
Hell the ROTF Megs hollowness doesn't bother me at all anymore (I do flip down the tank turrets at the sides though)

Nah. I'm extremely happy with Studio Series as a whole, and even more with Siege, PotP and so forth. These are great yos for the mass market, and they get a lot more right than they get wrong. Nobody should ever go into any movie line looking for perfection, given that the movie designs are intrinsically incompatible with toys. They all require extreme trickery to make work.

You know, despite some of the perceived flaws SS DOTM Megs has, I still plan on getting him like I did the ROTF figure. It seems that gappage is a running gag with both our SS Megatrons in hindsight, lol. Still, I've been waiting for them to do this particular version of Megatron, and I'm glad they're not skipping over him. Wonder if his trailer is able to turn like his previous DOTM figure, has that been confirmed?

Now all we need is a CONFIRMED Dino, Jolt (ehhh...maybe), Que/Wheeljack, Shockwave, Sentinel, the Fallen, and Blitzwing, and I'd be happy as BW Megatron whenever he says "YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS...."

...in fact, that's what I say whenever a particular figure is confirmed for Studio Series.

38 out of 40 ain't bad. You get my point you're just trolling.
Same. Everyone's freaking out about this and yet not giving it any credit for being an excellent and mostly movie accurate toy of an impossible design.

Your argument makes no sense. I'm saying TLK was too small for its MSRP and this is slightly smaller, so it also doesn't measure up to full price.

Because the FOUR other movie images next to the concept art ALSO don't show digitigrade legs.

I and many others were happy to pay that price, and your whole point was that he’s not valuable enough for the sale price that you mentioned and that’s fine if you think that but all this value that you’re mentioning just seems to be your opinion on how much you personally want to pay for it, which means very little as an argument.

Dude they’re there. That’s the design. If they look more solid in some scenes rather than others that’s just the angle. The figure is correct to have them that way.
