Oh yuck. There's no fixing that. I've managed to kludge cheapo toys back together with a dremel and screw that approximates the mushroom peg size, but would not attempt that at anything over $12. Nothing sadder than a busted mushroom peg.
Breakage & joint floppiness are my concerns with KOs. Hopefully you can get that replaced, and it's only a one-off, and not something that happens to them all. And I actually like the darker color over the silvery of the original.
Asking for a buddy...does this toy not even come with a proper box or did the seller just want to save on shipping ?
What a figure! Lockdown AOE done right in toy form! Managed to get the UT version locally from some guy who decided to sell it off for a steal. I jumped on it immediately! The vehicle mode looks fantastic and replicated brilliantly. All the lines of the 2013 Lamborghini Avantador is there. Looks like a car model and with all the diecast around just reminds me of the old Binaltech series. Robot mode looks fantastic! It's amazing how he can transform from a sleek car to a sleeker looking robot mode! Like Challenger, I never knew this was possible to replicate in toy form! I like how some parts of the car is incorporated nicely in bot mode while some parts remain hidden and yet it still makes the bot mode look humanoid and slim!
I noticed almost immediately the difference between the UT and BSL Peru Kill. Cosmetic wise that is. In alt mode, look at the windshield. There is black paint around the frame of the windshield on the UT whereas it's unpainted on the BSL. Can't see the differences yet in robot mode though.
9 f***ing days later, still f***ing nothing. Anyone else dealt with Show.Z's tracking? The last it was updated was it was released from customs in NYC 12/17. I could've driven from Chicago & back in those 5 days, making stops along the way. Not only am I past impatient, but now I'm starting to get worried.
Customs sucks. Two of my figures were released from there recently, but only one actually updated after a week. They hold onto packages forever, but the holidays are probably delaying it further
UGH. I already got my Wei Jiang Blackout from AliExpress & WJ Evasion Mode Prime from Amazon. I ordered this within a week of those, and still waiting. I need to complain online more often! When I posted earlier, USPS had come & gone. Just now, I see the truck come back, she gets out with a box, walks upstairs to my apartment & knocks! Aaaaaaand I just noticed one of the dogs is missing a foot. *sigh* Whatever. I have the better ones preordered anyway, and I still have two seemingly complete ones. Time to open it & play with him!
Some orders from them take 48 hours to reach my doorstep, others a month. ShowZ is very reliable. It's a very busy time of year.
I had to oil up one of his thumbs (though it's the hand I want the hook on, so it wouldn't have been a HUGE deal if it'd broke, but I'm glad I prevented it), and the instructions are a little difficult to understand (thankfully Ben's video helped), but, man, he's amazing! And while I don't have the original, I have zero issues with his paintjob or feel. The sheen & details are fantastic, and it feels like a legit figure, nothing knock-offy about it.
Does anyone know the height of this one? Is it OS compared to the original one? I wonder what the differences are between this one and the BSL KO version. And as always, how does the alt mode scale with WeiJiang M01 Commander
It's supposed to be the same size as Peru Kill, so about Human Alliance / Movie Masterpiece scale which scales fairly well with Commander in vehicle mode. Robot mode, not so much, movie Lockdown was definitely a mass shifter. As for the diffrrences between this and BSL's, the BSL one has three dogs of the same colour, whereas this comes with two of different colours. According to Cheem, the other differences are in small fixes to PK (where BSL appears to be a straight copy) and a darker paintjob. - Vehicle mode rear gap fixed. - Die-cast material for chest area (previously prone to damage in car mode). - Neck joint changed to ball-joint (for better articulation). - Entire vehicle mode spray painted. - The beasts with more metallic painted.
