Oh man, I've been real starved for good ideas this year. A lot of gift cards and booze gonna be coming from me. Some fancy chocolates for some, fancy meats for others, strange instant noodles for another, but really, disappointed in myself wrt gifts this year. Found some nice cards though.
my brother: super Saiyan vegito and Metal - Batman Who Laughs funko pops, albiet delayed. he's already aware. everyone else: my hopes for the best gifts. ...yeah, I stink at this.
Gah, the family all gets toys, because life is too short to not appreciate a nice toy. And not like an iPad-as-a-toy, I mean Lego-as-a-toy.
For my sister: A book and tracings My mom: An Amazon gift card My dad: A gift card The cats: Treats and getting spoiled with love.
I have a large family, so we drew names and set a price limit. I ended up getting my oldest sister. I’m also getting something for my mom, dad, and brother because I live with them still. Sister: A book she said she really wanted Mom: A llama calendar, and a wine glass with a llama design on it (she likes llamas and wine ) Dad: A record player. He’s started to tell me a lot about his vinyls, and what they meant to him as a kid. They’ve sat around for years, so I decided to finally get him one! Brother: An ammo box because he wanted one and my dad suggested it.. (Also, I got my horse a big 5 pound bag of his favorite treats!)
It's a really tight year, not complaining, so overall I've been focusing on more abstract gifts. Spending more time with my mom before my move and helping her around her house, timing my vacation and household chores so my bro and sis-in-law can enjoy their time off together before their kid arrives in privacy without having to do a bunch of work, etc. Only person i spent money on was the GF: she's a cosplayer and seamstress and into vintage stuff and floofy dresses so i bought her a porceline pincushion doll fitted with a new red dress and matching pin set. Going to MI to visit her and cook Christmas dinner while she's away from her fam and friends on the west coast, hope she loves it. Merry Christmas everyone! I hope the Yuletide is filled with cheer and memories for you and yours!
Mum: Canvas wall art, new pedals for her bike, and a box of Ferrero Rocher. Dad: DVD twin pack of some David Essex movies, a pocket knife, waterproof cycling socks, and a box of Wine Gums. Aunt: Hedge cutters (her Christmas lists are always very utilitarian, haha), and a box of Maltesers. Brosef: Snoop Dogg's cookbook 'From Crook to Cook' (I want it for myself as well, some of the recipes look amazing), and two tubs of cola bottles penny sweets. Brosef's fiance: £30 Amazon gift card. Nephew: Lego Juniors Jurassic World Pterandodon Escape set, I was tempted to get him one of those big Cyberverse Grimlocks but I'm trying to steer him away from Transformers in an attempt to get him to lose interest in my collection, haha. Niece: Dinosaur themed baby clothes.
Had some unexpected vet bills this year so money came late but here’s what I got Brother: assassins creed origins and odyssey Sister+her bf: gift cards for there new place Mom: ice cream maker and accessories for it such as waffle bowl maker Gram: few new outfits and a new humidifier for her at night Niece: $100 worth of Pokémon toys
