While it does look like a good toy I am just not a fan of the boxy G1 look with a realistic paint job, I honestly think that the Bay designs are far superior, Optimus, Ratchet, Ironhide, Sideswipe, Jazz, Shockwave, Soundwave, TLK Megatron all better than their G1 counterparts in my opinion, as unpopular as that opinion might be, still, its good that G1 fans have something to get excited about which is great, but despite the fact that I grew up with G1 as well this just isnt my Optimus Prime, AOE/TLK Optimus is my favorite design, he honestly looks like he could tear this Optimus limb from limb, which we all know he probably could given how bad ass and ruthless he was shown to be in combat over the previous 5 films, and as unlikely as it might be, I still have my fingers crossed for at least one more movie that is a direct sequel to the Last Knight, despite its flaws I am still one of the few people that actually thoroughly enjoyed that film.

Ill still likely pick up this new Optimus when its released, but he wont be replacing my SDCC TLK Voyager Optimus as my definitive movie Optimus figure.

Man, when I saw the screenshot of him the very first thing I asked for was a figure of him but figured it was a long shot but Hasbro came through for this TF fan as that fig looks friggin' fantastic.

Plus Cybetronian modes would be too Siege.

Also I'm extremely excited about this. Gonna see the movie on the 23rd, and gonna be hunting for this toy as soon as it's released.

Excellent. That’ll be a nice wait.
Well we do know blitzwing is gonna happen. But I’m not sure who they’ll do the seekers. They could all be minor remolds of the blitzwing mold for earth forms. So we could get starscream, thundercracker and that conehead acidstorm thing. But we could also get them in Cybertron forms but I wonder how the heck that’s gonna be possible. Regardless, it’s a very prosperous thought.
Was it actually? I don’t recall seeing any differences. Do you have an image you could share? Maybe hide it cause it’s a bit spoilerish.

You Baylovers had 10 years, let us get one good Live Action Transformers Movie about Transformers including normal Optimus Prime, then you go on destroying his good name by having him steal people's faces, rip their hearts out and lop off heads. Just let the old guard have one good movie, then you can raze the brand into the ground with name slaps and potty humor, you could even call it "badassery," if you like.

Just one movie with Travis Knight's -The Optimus Prime. Then you guys can get back to tearing the franchise limb from limb until it's not recognizable anymore.

Just one movie with this Guy:

    And BB doesn't count.

Then, we'll let you get back to finding new ways to have Optimus murder his foes. Maybe he'll spit on them when they're down, give them neckties, scream curse words. Whatever you want, Bay's got your back.

Just let me have one good movie with This Prime

    That's all I ask.

I think you might be. Cause all the gaps in his abdomen are still there. And the Cybertron deisgn aslo had wheels. So I think he just didn’t find a truck form yet. But even if he did, the only difference would be the grill and probably some more realistic wheels.

Devil's advocate: Is Cybertron the only planet in the galaxy that has to deal with rain?

Voyager. The report didn’t notice the label at the bottom of the instructions.

Wow, this looks fantastic. I think this style is a great middle ground between G1 and the movie-verse.

And, ironically, the Bayformer fans are called angry and upset. I’m sorry, you don’t have to like the Bay films and it’s cool if you disagree with someone, but this is a very shitty and immature response.
