Ahah! I'm glad I came to this thread to comment on having gotten Huffer today because the picture above pointed out Huffer has heel spurs for stability. Hat tip to @shogun221 for helping me catch what I missed with the cool picture.

That was the one thing I was going to comment on - i.e. that he was a little top heavy. Funny enough I could still pose him without them but it was a lot more precarious. Great figure. I'm torn if Blaster or Huffer is my favorite MST figure so far.

His legs are very clever. I'm not sure I'd say it was easy to figure out but once I got where all the panels are it's an easy transformation. I never had G1 Huffer but I would have loved to have this one back then. He is very much my image of the cartoon figure. No stretching the imagination like a lot of the original figures. LOL

So, can anyone give me an idea how this guy scales with IF figures? I've been looking through the boards and online but (for pretty obvious reasons) all the size comparisons are with MFT's version. I can't even find just a measurement on him. I miss the days when retailers would post info on sizes so I could at least get out a ruler and eyeball it. I know he'll be a bit out of scale and obviously a different aesthetic, but I'm pretty forgiving of such things within certain parameters. Just want to know HOW much taller he'll be than, say, an IF car bot.

He should actually scale pretty well. A good reference point is that Magic Square's Sideswipe is about the same size as Iron Factory's. (credit to @rob_charb for the pic)

With that in mind, the pic below should help:

The only IF figure I have is Skyfire/Jetfire. I don't know if this will help you any but just in case, here Huffer is with him.

@shogun221 @Tismark Thank you both, the responses were helpful. Based on that info, I'm estimating that MS Huffer is just a bit shorter than IF Sideswipe. That's actually better than I was hoping, I thought he might be a bit taller than 'Swipe. I may go back and take a look at some of their other minibots then, they look pretty nice. IF is my main thing where Legends are concerned but I don't mind to go outside their line for an occasional figure, especially minibots like these, which seem unlikely to get made by IF.

Tismark your picture especially was helpful, I do have IF Jetfire and so it was a useful comparison. IF Sideswipe's head comes to around the bottom of Jetfire's cockpit, which tells me Huffer is a tad shorter.

Glad it helped. Realized just now looking at it that the angle may affect how tall Huffer looks so I did another with them standing straight on side by side. Huffer doesn't quite reach the top of his legs.

Do you have any of the bigger MFT figures to compare to that Jetfire? Dinobots or Sixshot perhaps?

@ICEPnguin thanks for that pic. I'd say he actually scales quite nicely with the IF bots.

while he is smaller than the rest of the "big" legend bots he still works for me. in my collections they only need to look like they can take a punch from another bot without exploding. so if they got that look they're in.

Just opened Huffer and transformed him back and forth. Man he's good. Sure, truck mode isn't perfect, but overall he feels so good and the transformation is fun and intuitive.

Curious if they'll remold the cab piece connection for a G1-ish Pipes. Seems like a swivel in there where it connects would do the trick.

I think you want the MFT version if you want to scale with TR Bee......This guy is smaller.

Does anyone have MS Huffer and Mech Planet's Hot Soldiers Optimus Prime, and if so, is it possible for the Huff to haul that trailer?
