I want a toy of this now! HasTak, 3Ps, MAKE IT SO!

and if they could take some creative liberty with Ratchet replacing Cerebros and Jim Kirk replacing Spike in gold uniform colors, I would surrender my wallet to whoever releases this first.

The comic states that it's a copy of the Enterprise scaled up to cybertron standards, if that helps.

I don't know if they can. There's a shit ton of cheating going on with that robot mode.
If anyone can make it, I'll be impressed.

Really surprised that he didn't use the nacelles as arms. Thought that would be a no-brainer.

As others have mentioned, it's a pretty uninspired robot mode. Don Figueroa would have made it magical.

a lot of comments on how cheaty it is, but like... 90% of non-toy-original designs have been just as cheaty and nobody's batted an eye.

Why isn't that a thing? Maybe it'll happen in ST/Transformers 2 with the superior captain, Jean-Luc Picard.

I never really imagined Fortress Maximus being the size of a Cybertronian city, but more like a part of a city, kind of like how people may believe Metroplex is only a part of a city. FWIW, I always imagined Metroplex making up an entire Cybertronian city, and thus Fortress Maximus, being a fortress, would be a fraction of the size of Metroplex.

As for Fortress Tiberius, the design doesn't bother me, especially whether or not it could transform. How many G1 cartoon transformations were toy-accurate in 1984, anyway? And why do the G1 cartoon models of Ratchet and Ironhide have heads and not a big windshield for a face?

Never thought of that! Should have made it the enterprise and those Cybertronian giant omega Supremes, Tiberius Supreme, or Omega Tiberius. The arms, like Huffer, the glowing bulbs on the nacelles would be the hands where claws like omega supreme come out, and the nacelle ends are the shoulders. The glowing bulbs are energy canons in bot mode. The satellite dish on his chest. An omega supreme head, and yea. That would be way better.. Okay, now it's digibash time!!

3ps you're gonna want to take note for a Retooled KO enterprise omega supreme version.

As much as I hate star trek, I must admit I like the idea of transformers turning into iconic movie vehicles. This is what the star wars crossover line should have been. Actual transformers instead of stupid chewbacca and solo heads on robot bodies.

The warp nacelles would be top heavy in robot mode. Stability issues right there. That needs to be folded to the back.

That is cool and done right. What I didn't like about Star Wars transformers was the Death Star turned into Darth Vader. What?!?! That's not Star Wars Transformers, that's Star Wars with transforming ships. It should've been Unicron as the Death Star. Starscream Tie Fighter, etc.... This works with the Transformers theme. Although this should've been Metroplex or Omega Supreme so Fort Max could be the Enterprise-D haha.

I'm just seeing all those open decks and thinking about all the people that get spaced when he transforms.

As has been said by others, that this design is intended to work within the design aesthetic of this series, specifically the simplified Filmation and G1 cartoons, a more intricate design would be out of place.

Does anyone think that a third party company may try to make a figure based on this?
