Quite a bit to report in the ABQ for those interested...

On Monday, Target on Paseo has Siege Deluxes, picked up Sideswipe and Cog. I thought I might have been done after the Prime wars trilogy, but I guess not, Siege is more awesome than I thought. And way to go hasbro, they finally got retailers to charge 20 dollars for 10 dollar toys, and for the upgrade in the smaller classes.

Still though its hard to complain about updated micro masters, I had all these as a kid in the 80's since they were just about all I could afford.

On Saturday, Target on Lomas has Siege Deluxes and SS Dropkick and KSI Sentry (Blue Stinger) on Saturday. Dropkick looked like a Fragile beauty but had to pass, have to start getting picky due to collection size now. Also hoping for a car version at some point.

Most of the targets have the SS BB 2 Packs now for 39.99 or something like that too. The VW BB with rust is really tempting.

On Saturday, found BotBot blind packs at the Walmart on Carlisle in the red stocking stuffer toy bins, probably at the other Stores by now. picked up few for giggles, but now I am thinking this could be a slipperly slope to additional collecting. They amuse me, but at 2.97 each I may not get that many of them.

If anyone sees PotP Op Op or SS Ironhide, holler...going to have to downsize my collection pretty soon, but these are on my must have list.

Does anyone know when the Bee movie comes out? I am still getting settled, and have not been able to keep up with a lot of stuff lately.

I really gotta update my profile,

Whether not anyone cares, Walmart's website has the G1 reissue Hot Rod for 12.97. I paid online then went and picked him up. So more than half off is a kick ass deal.

Thanks for the heads up. Either my Walmart is weird or I did something wrong. So when I read this, it sounded like you ordered it in the morning and picked it up later that same day. So that's what I was expecting. Turns out that my Walmart actually ordered 1 to ship to the store. I ordered it early Friday and it won't be at the Eubank store till Tuesday. Even though they have a full case on ths shelf for like the past month. Maybe I missed an option or misunderstood how long it takes from purchase to pick-up. Either way, great price for a G1 reissue. Hopefully Reprolabels does cel-shaded stickers for it.

Lol, glad to hear someone got in on this. Well I ordered very late night Wednesday and picked it up about noon the following day. I did set my store to the one nearest to me as it said it was in-stock, then chose the pick-up option when I paid. Now I'm watching for the G1 Starscream to go on sale.

That may be where I messed up. I added to my cart and choose store pick-up. If i choose the store first, it might have been faster. Oh well. But yeah, please post more sales if you see them. Still looking for the minibots.

Just fondly remember the "good 'ole days" when deluxes or comparable classes were around 10 or so, and legion or comparable classes were around 3 each. I started having to get a little picky on the hobby several years ago though too. Course then again in the G1 days, I remember minibots for like 2.84, same price as G. I. Joe in Walmart too. Getting old sucks, and I got a constant supply of 'member berries.

    I have member berry jelly.

I can't justify buying these new fangled transformers for their prices anymore, i mean, the siege megatron is almost perfect for a tank megatron, yet i can't justify the price being like over half of the price for my leader CW megs.

Right, nothing like 'member berry jelly on whole grain nostalgia.

    I guess 30 is the new 20 or 25.

So I found the Minibots at Wyoming Walmart last night before they closed! They had a Bumblebee Movie display in front of electronics with posters, shirts, and toys. There was at least 7 to 10 more sets of all 4 figures left.

Also, BBTS put a sale on MP Ramjet for $40! It's the run that had the shoulder joints mis-assembled. Luckily Chosen Prime has a fix video on YouTube that looks pretty easy. For $40 I'm willing to give it a shot.

    Walmart closes? Who knew...

I was hoping that Dirge would go down too, but I think the error was only on Ramjet. Good luck with the fix! That's a great price for a MP seeker.

HEEEEEEEYYYYYYY. I got in on that too actually, I'm not afraid to fix whatever even if it means popping a pin out (except my TFC ironshell) mine says it shipped today actually. BUT, there could be problems for us. We may get a copy that has the left shoulder and right shoulder part swapped. That's fixable, however some have reported two lefts or two rights, meaning they are screwed. So if by freak chance, we get a two left or two right copy, we can trade parts to make it work. So yeah, good luck on your copy and I'll post here right away when mine comes in.

mp seeker for 40 and g1 reissue for 12, my wallet is pain-free for the moment. I'm thinking about scooping an Iron Factory toy to try out the legends scale stuff. So rest easy for now wallet....

Found the Cyberverse Prime with the trailer.....doesn't look as impressive as I thought it would. Also the G1 minibots were out. I looked at them, and I thought that they looked really cheap. Like the dollar store toys. The card back was really flimsey and...it just looked bad. If anyone found these too, what do you think of them?

Not sure if anyone is looking or even interested anymore

    But

Rio bravo Walmart has all the g1 mini bots in a bumblebee display at the end of the aisle near automotive.

Got bumblebee and was surprised by the face.

So far I've only opened Bumblebee. I thought it feels just as good as G1. Rubber tires are good and joints are tight. The feet do pull off if you pull the leg too hard, but that was also an issue with G1. Plus the painted faces make it worth while. Just kind of a weird choice to put out the reprints instead of the originals (Brawn, Windcharger, and Gears), but it opens the door for more of these.

Sounds good. Hopefully it's just a left is on the right and a right is on the left. I might not ship mine till the beginning of next year just to bulk out my order. But keep me posted and I'll let you know as well.

Throwing out my 2 cents. The new SS Bumblebee is incredible. I ordered the MPM right after buying it. I'm really in love with the new movie designs; they really are a step above the Bayformers. I think the fans were right. Got a few Siege toys and I'm really not liking them. They feel pretty cheap. I do think it's cool having a lion (wolf) sword and a lion headmaster shield, though.

I also bought unique toys Challenger and maybe that changed what I expect in a toy now. I've also been collecting Tobot V lately which is on the total opposite end of the spectrum.

I've shifted my collection to iron factory scale autobots mostly wihh a few stand out MP scale bots like hot rod , but I'm having a tough time switching from my old ROTF prime over to any of the mpms,
I have kept a good amount of Deceptions from the chug/cw scales, but when one siege figure is only five bucks less than an iron factory, I really have a tough time justifying it over the smaller bots.

now the trick is rearranging my collection so it is better suited to the sizing dichotomy.
