On a side note Brainstorm is looking fantastic too. Maybe they'll do a double whammy relesse. A man can dream.

I noticed that they are numbered RM-14 and RM-18. I don't follow MT too closely, do we have the numbers in between currently accounted for?

Maketoys isn't really known to be fast. There are even no news about their crowdfunding project they started a while ago. That's really annoying.

 

Those are the slots for the Coneheads. Brainstorm will pretty much end G1 MP for MT. Expect them to put out the Coneheads as quickly as they put out Skywarp and Thundercracker. They already have working prototypes for all of the wings and sculpt changes.

 

They are not doing Crosshairs and Sureshot after canceling Crosshairs. We are going to have to hope another 3P picks it up. The problem is that MT did a nearly perfect Pointblank and anyone that did them would want to do their own team and not exclude that character. I would put my money on whoever does the Misfire, Triggerhappy, and Slugslinger taking on those two extra characters. Does the market absorb two different Pointblanks when the original didn't sell that well? I absolutely love the figure. MT is just tired of G1 and the competition. I don't believe they see any money in the targetmasters based on Pointblank sales.

 

Maketoys is still pissed off that people were buying ko’s of their shit and then crawling to them for replacement parts lmao. I only wanted hard head from them and point blank. And of course I bought the ko

 

Completely agree that Contactshot is a great figure and what a shame that they won't be finishing the Targetmasters....

 

Mt should realise that many are holdjng back on getting contact shot because they have not seen any progress of the other 2 targetmaster. As with ft weirdworlf, the 2nd wave of buying comes after people see the prototype of dracula and chomp

 

Has this been officially confirmed by Maketoys or it's just speculation?

 

I know I bought Contactshot because the others were coming as well.


Had I known they were gonna cancel the other two, I wouldn't have bothered even though he's a great figure.

 

Chicken and egg problem. Another argument can be made, MT is not making the other two because people are not buying the first one.
1. Maketoys make all three. Customers don't buy. Maketoys lose.
2. Maketoys make all three. Customers wait for KO and buy those. Maketoys lose.

Thank you Maketoys for not making more of money losing products.
