Remember the 2013 Botcon seekers that was labelled as the Rainmakers set by mistake? This must be IF's version of Bitstream. They already made their Sunstorm (EX-20C, Clone) and Hotlink (EX-20A, Amethyst) so they must be finishing off the trio.



I wonder now if they'll do the actual Rainmakers since they already made an Acidstorm (EX-20G) and you could assume Amethyst as Ion Storm instead of Hotlink. But by that same argument I guess you could treat Sunstorm as Nova Storm instead too so I dunno....

And yeah, does anyone know how to get in on that red EX-20SP if you're outside the Chinese market and don't have that phone app?

 

I originally thought that but then I noticed it has dark blue intakes and shoulder pylons.

G1 Soundwave as a boxy truck works so much better than I figured it would. The boombox is a bit off, but it's all there-ish.
Filling out the cyber carbots and jets, awesome. Just need two more with camo and they've swept the seekers (finish the rainmakers IF; it's the future we want... and make up two new femme seekers, mold reuse is what you want)

but they could have upscaled her so who knows.

 

Man, there's so many of these things I want to get! Like even though they're just a repaint/retool of Sunstreaker, I really want those battlechargers. But yeah, Mirage, Hound, and Wheeljack look great. And that Megatron! And Nemesis Prime!

 

This was such a great thing to wake up to this morning; all these IF bots and TE legends (?) blackarachnia and rattrap, too. I’m happy like a kid at Christmas

Never bought an IF. Clearly that’s about to change.

 

Shrug. They made similar coloring choices with Amethyst's intakes and shoulder pylons too. Consistency, yay!

 

It seems you have to download ToyPlus app and register an account, then use the app's order-made function to purchase this. The number of production depends on the number of orders. Or you can just wait and see if someone will sell it secondhand on Ebay or something.

 

Looks good, i am pleased for IF. They are definitely one of the top 3P companies if not the top.

The market for MP has been huge, but i am pretty sure a few years ago they produced one of the best toys of the year in lord scorpion not that enough people would aknoweledge that because it was not MP or classics scale. Since then the marker was definitely down.

I would say their vision has been steadfast throughout and they created their thing/line only reliant on their own toys and no one elses. They upped the wow factor along the way.

I will sure award them best 3P company. They make all others look like part timers.

 

Didn't notice starwing. I recall something to this effect but thought it was a fan's thing. Okay why not.

 

Is this bunny girl Starscream an original design or is IF drawing from some source material for it?

Also is this the figure that some people were referring to as Kiss Player Starscream?
